跟大家熟悉的翻财tag相比，transition tag有他的好处和坏处
好处：transition tag是同位置top 10球员的平均工资，而翻财tag是top 5，所以省钱。
坏处：如果别的队伍给offer，你不能match的话，球员被挖走后，你没有任何选秀补偿
。而翻财tag是有的。

Sequoia, 科技老掉牙， 空间还不如 minivan. expedition 类似问题。 minivan 比

家共享：
1.申请transit visa不需要担保人，但temporary visit visa需要（担保人需是日本公
民或在日本工作２－３年以上的，另外在美的F１学生要担保人，H１不要）;
2.你不能选择办理哪种签证，是领事馆决定给你transit还是temp visa;
3.transit visa一般只是说一个晚上，超过一天他们会要求你申temp visa（我说４天
，她让我申temp）;
4.Visa fee: transit ７刀，temp ２９刀;
5.机票和酒店reservation即可，不需要正式的;
6.我问是不是transit给１５天，她说no，要根据你机票和hotel以及day to day的行程
来决定;
7.纽约市外的可邮寄办理。
准备试一下，给他们４天的行程，没有担保人, 碰碰运气看他们给不给transit visa... |

航班，也会把现有的HND-PEK/PVG的“包机”正式改为正常航班。因此可能会在HND和另
外的东京地区主要国际机场——成田机场（NRT）两个机场间转机。
以前只在NRT一地机场转机，只涉及到SHORE PASS，也就是72小时内在同一机场进出。在
HND-NRT间转机，SHORE PASS不再有效，需要另外一种PERMISSION，叫TRANSIT PASS。下
面这段文字是原来日本外务省对这种TRANSIT PASS的具体描述，现在网页上已经找不到

这两次我用的Itinerary都是旅行社给的，自己打印出来，没有真正买机票。同样酒店预定单也是自己做的，没有真正预定酒店。另外如果面签的话不用带任何复印件。
之前:
本人在美F1签证，由于想在暑假回国的路上经停日本，打算申请Transit Visa，看了精
华区的帖子，自拟了6天的行程。
准备材料有护照、申请表、I-20、3个月存款证明，旅行社的Itinerary、酒店预定单、
行程安排，I-20复印件。
今天下午到纽约日本领事馆申请Transit Visa，女签证官，似乎是个新手，态度很好，
一直微笑。但她一拿到我的申请表就说6天有点长，说可能我得申请旅游签证，但是理
论上说Transit Visa可以给15天，所以要看完材料再说。然后很认真看材料，看到行程
的时候还说我行程安排好，然后聊到哪些地方应该早上去，哪些地方晚上去比较漂亮，
还建议我去XX的时候可以顺便到旁边的XX公园看看，说我到了日本可以适时调整我的行

渥太华的日本驻加拿大大使馆网站，明确写了TRANSIT VISA是最多15天，TEMP VISA是
90天。详细列了所有申请材料。
我理解两者的区别就是：TRANSIT VISA 一定要顺道游日本。
网站明确写了要出示去第三国的机票。如果只是美国直飞日本来回，就不属于TRANSIT
VISA范围了。我猜的。 |

还一再强调说是领事馆决定给你哪种visa
transit visa只是用来transit下一趟航班的
我说我在外务省的网页上看transit visa没那么多乱七八糟的限制
她说外务省或DC怎么说他们不管，完全是纽约领事馆决定
然后我就说我没有担保人在日本，就withdraw申请了
材料他们明天给我寄回来
整个过程工作人员很友善，很有礼貌
不过就是不肯发过境签证：（
我甚至问如果我把停留时间改成一天成不，
她说有可能可以，不过不能保证。
我在想问题可能出在我给领事馆发了停留四天的day by day schedule了
所以他们认为我要sightseeing,要申旅游签证。
不过如果我不给他们发，他们就会觉得东京到上海航班那么多，你干吗要停四天
所以很纠结，最后还是发了过去，果然杯具了
想问问大家我要不要找个时间再去面签一次？
有谁最近签过的说说看这些问题该怎么解决？

我打电话给加航国内的客户中心，他们给的requirements for TWOV include:

5. 清关柜台工作时间内清关
可是他们说我的飞机到达时清关柜台已经关了，所以不符合TWOV的要求 |

签证过期，需要在北京返签。而后再从国内返回美国。因为在Texas，先给houston的
consulate电话，非常明确地告知，不能给Transit，一定要有回美国的签证。除非你先
回国申请了美国签证再办日本签证；一身冷汗，莫非机票，旅店统统改掉？！可这是他
们签证要的东西啊。接着给Chicago电话，哥哥非常Nice，说只要回中国途中transit一
下没有问题，只是不是他们的Juristiction，不敢保证Houston方面什么情况，尽管政
策一致。除非本人上门Chicago办理。还是建议问问houston，晕。Denver，同样可以，
只是要把自己的行程安排，特别是要在东京transit回国后再申请美国签证的计划写清
楚就成了，更晕了。

Also, per Metra website, Monthly pass holders can purchase a magnetic swipe
transit card for unlimited connecting travel on CTA and Pace buses. However,
CTA usage is restricted to weekday peak travel hours of 6:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.
m. and 3:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
My question is, does anyone try or know will the Transit card work before

要住在Piscataway附近，又需要经常坐NJ Transit，所以想找尽量靠近Transit站的公寓
要坐的Transit线路是红色线（Northeast Corridor)，比较适合的站包括：Jersey Ave
、New Brunswick、Edison、Metuchen、Metropark
公寓要求：2 bedrooms，月租$1200左右或以下（包括冬天heating）

" If you have a monthly rail pass valued at $54 or more, you can use it on
any NJ TRANSIT light rail line or buses up to the number of zones indicated
on the pass. Simply show your valid rail pass to the bus operator or light
rail fare inspector."
The original posting mentioned two NJ Transit Lines are not light rail and
not bus line. The mentioned "flexibility" does not apply to the original
posting asked situation. |

参考了前辈们的文章, 发现Transit visa已经变的越来越难签. 许多日本驻美国的领事
馆要求F1要日本方面的担保人,原来此规定只用于short term visit,现在已经扩展到
transit visa.无有效返美签证不给签,要求确定的机票等等等等......
日本驻美国领事馆类似墨西哥驻美国领事馆, 各个领事馆政策大不相同. 但波特兰的日
本领事馆应该属于最NICE的领事馆, 啥也不要. 速度还很快. 唯一的缺点是态度不好.
归纳要点如下:
本人F1, 美国签证过期. I-20 OPT5月9号过期. 新的I-20表格尚未抵达.
1. 波特兰的日本领事馆开始的时候强调我的美国签证过期. 但看到有效I-20表格后就
没再说了.
2. I-20表格我忘了去学校签名. 上一次的签名是2009-8-17号, 日本领事馆表示可以接
受(1年内的签名居然都可以接受,大出所料)
3. F-1在日本驻波特兰领事馆签Transit visa不需要任何日本方面的担保人
4. 其他日本领事馆需要5个工作日处理签证. 但这个波特兰领事馆的速度很快, 我周一 |

大家知道有啥差别么？
因为在想不知道应该那一年继续上preschool还是去transition K。
还有那个Millikin怎么弄？
学校网站上说，去home shool拿号， 然后再上网注册。
这个注册就是表明向参与抽签么？
如果抽不上怎么办？还可以回home shool读么？
好像Millikin网页上没写有transition K呢：（ |

行程是从airchina(青岛）到北京，然后air canada（航班号 AC302 从北京到
VANCOUVER，然后是united airline（UA517 ）到三番。
我打电话给air canada,他们说需要visa,但是打电话给united,他们说因为只是在那里
connecting就不需要。
有父母或自己从那里转机过吗？到底该怎么办呢？票是7月24号的。还有一个多月的时
间。如果需要transit visa，那就要赶紧办。可是还是要去北京一趟，真是麻烦啊。
