我的机票是6.2.去7.2.返回，看到网上说有效期3个月，担心回程的时候visa过期了。
请问transit visa的有效期是怎么算的呢？应该什么时候申请合适呢？

我昨天去面签的。材料就是常规的几样，税表我都没给他。日程是四天。到和走的两天
，都写明确这天是到达或离开，没有其他活动。中间几天，一天是简单的sightseeing
东京塔和皇宫。之后两天都是买东西。
遇到的窗口工作人员是一个长得很老实的男的。对方当时收了我的材料，然后转身到后
面去请示领事。我等了一两分钟吧。对方回来说：领事不在，现在没有办法答复你。我
先给你receipt，明天早上电话通知你结果。有被拒（杯具）的可能，那时候你只能来
取回自己的材料了。
我当然答应了。因为我不住nyc，所以正郁闷拒签也还要再跑一趟。
今早40分钟前接到电话，对方还是那个男工作人员，他说法很奇妙。寒暄过后（日本领
事馆服务态度确实不错），说：领事说这次姑且给你，但是你的情况大可以不给你
Transit Visa的。以后如果以你的情况申请，很有可能是被拒的。这一点希望你理解。
然后说周四就可以取签证了。
我连忙谢谢他，说好周五去取签证。
从我的实例来看，我觉得大致有这样几点：
1）NYC确实今年变得不倾向于给Transit。
2）运气比较好，当时领事不在；不然估计当场拒。可能是因为看我是乡下 |

the transit visa (3-15 days) was set long time ago when flights were not
common. Most people transferred by ferries back then, and it took up to 15
days for connecting ferries.
Now waiting for 15 days for the next flight is so rare, so any stay longer
than 3 days does not qualify for a transit visa. They really should change
their website~

4.乘坐加航，经toronto or Vancover 转机当天飞美国
5. 清关柜台工作时间内清关
可是他们说我的飞机到达时清关柜台已经关了，所以不符合TWOV的要求 |

考古看到大家说10个business day，可是网站上写的30天
如果下周末还没收到的话，打算4/9号那周直接到纽约去办理，像我这种还需要再带一
份申请材料吗？亲自去当天能拿到吗？
另外，办transit visa需要financial information吗？看到网上说不需要我就没寄，
如果要的话我就得下周早点去补材料了。

但是坐cruise的目的非常明确，和transit visa的目的完全不相符，这个还是毋庸置疑的

我这次回国， 回去经过德国，回来从北京飞DC，在日本停三天半，所以shore pass不
行，事先在网上做了充分的研究，除了日本DC大使馆主页上要求的材料外，还按照网友
亚特兰大，芝加哥领馆签证经验里准备的材料，事实证明起了很大的作用。其中有几点
很重要的材料是DC大使馆主页上没有写的
1： hotel reservation in tokyo， 我定了一个可以cancel的拿去了
2： 机票，如果没有机票，可以是航空公司的机票itinerary， 但关键是 itinerary上
必须有本人的名字，我最开始的时候，就是在UA上搞了一个从中国到美国经停日本的
itinerary，没有正式reservation， 所以就没有我的名字，日本大使馆就让我补材料
，赶快去UA官网make reservation， 然后返回大使馆交给他们
3： 我是从北京飞DC的时候经停日本的，但他们要了我从DC回国的机票，而特别问了我
最终目的地是不是中国大陆，我买的是回家乡的联票，工作人员不认识还要我解释了一
下。

发现对于from USA的要求变成了：

（以前是have had a valid U.S. VISA to enter U.S.）
我目前情况是美国F1签证已过期，但F1身份仍然有效，未有过期居留。所购机票为Air
Canada 在多伦多当天转机去中国，机票应该没有问题，就是担心过期美国VISA是否会
有问题。
请问各位版友，最近有人用这个项目回国么？有没有遇到类似的问题？

- neurology (TY must include a 6 to 8 months of internal medicine)
For AMGs TY interview invites are relatively easy to get, but one has to
compete with those competitive Derm, Rads, and Rad Onc candidates.
Also be careful that unlike preliminary medicine or surgery, transitional
