happy to keep feeding this colony.
About these kittens, they are pretty feral to me. My friend and I have no
source to find forever home for them, it will be great if you know any
experienced foster home or rescue people to tame and foster these kittens,
then I will still feed the mom after she is returned. |

Volvo的AWD,其实不要也罢。问题多多啊。
俺倒是觉得新款比较耐看。尽管有了些曲线，还是比别的车中规中距。

PS pump的杂音俺不清楚，看看是不是皮带过紧或是pulley的问题。 俺本来计划换变
速箱油的，现在换了oil trap，一直没有时间了，可能周末动工了。
其实如果自己能动手，开Volvo还是不错的。
对了，Volvo的service software 叫VADIS。找一个，很实用。俺有一个2004的，如果
你需要的话，言语一声。 |

准备：
１. TRAP和其他工具
你可以去HOMEDEPOT买FERAL CAT TRAP，我推荐买双门的。MEDIUM SIZE或以上，太小的
猫不爱进。见图
同时，你需要买一把叉子（学名TNR Trap Dividers），用来在TRAP中隔离猫，方便你
清洁和喂食。见图
再找一条家里不用的浴巾，猫被TRAP后会恐慌，要及时用大浴巾把TRAP盖上，带到室内
或车中。
２. 猫妈的和小猫的喂养准备
可以准备一个大狗笼，或者腾出一个小卫生间，把TRAP好的妈妈和宝宝们放在一起。如
果决定人工喂养宝宝，可以提前预约好第二天的KC手术，把TRAP到的妈妈直接送去手术
，头天晚上不吃只给水。猫妈妈如果非常不亲人，在TRAP里恢复也是可行的，大越２－
３天放自然。如果亲人，可以放到厕所里恢复。
抓猫：
抓猫妈的前一天尽量少喂甚至不喂，但因为她还在奶宝宝，所以只能少喂点。这会给
TRAP增加很多困难。如过宝宝被带走了，就可以不喂猫妈饿她一天没有关系。

单纯讲 trapping efficiency已经能够超过90%，就是进入trap 能被trap住的效率
但是必须要讲的是 ion trap capacity，因为space charge effect，所以trap 能够
trap的离子数是有限制的。 一般LTQ比普通 ion trap 高20倍。
所以仪器对于进入trap的离子数量是控制的，如果离子的最高值达到了，再多的离子也
不能被检测到。这样就会造成你说的离子的损失
另外整个trap+detection 需要的时间是100ms level，所以在两个cycle 之间损失的离
子也要考虑到。
另外讲orbitrap，orbitrap也是trap，所以space charge effect 也是存在的，所以一
次进入orbi的离子不能超过限度，多余的离子是要浪费的。
另外C-trap就是一个存储离子的功能 ，做完HCD or ETD后，离子要到C-trap里先集合
一下，让后进入orbi做检测，本身的trap efficiency是很高的。唯一要考虑的是造成
的duty cycle的延长。 |

我的case manager上周五去加勒比度假了，我从知道她要度假的那天起，就盘算着，我
也歇10天, 不抓猫不运猫不放猫。可事情永远没有想的好。
5月1１日，周四，接到电话，H（如此命名有下文）喂养着３只semi-feral，于是周四
晚奉命去抓并顺利抓到两只。５月１２日，继续在H家抓猫，并抓到１只。可问题出现
了，H说这三只猫中，只有１只是他喂的。他开始panic, 他害怕他喂的不止三只猫。这
是事实，谁能保证喂养固定数量的野猫呢？于是我讲干了嘴唇，想让他明白，只要花时
间把一个colony抓完，就能有效控制没有新的野猫出现。最后，他礼貌的送我走了，但
我知道，我的劝说失败了。
５月１３日，头儿早上４点给三只野猫做好paperwork, 就去赶飞机，正式开始她的
vacation。我7点开到她家，pick up三只野猫外加两只IAR Foster猫去参家POP－NC(

鉴于昨天小猫吓坏了，今天我们都不去了，只那个人去trap
结果抓住了猫爸爸……

这只猫要么是被遗弃了，要么是outdoor猫，一定不是feral cat。
还有一个问题是：我下trap逮到的万一是别人的家猫（假设是不带collar在外面到处逛
的）送去fix了，主人会不会找我麻烦？

There r wild colonies of cats at every wal mart, Costco you name it. They
feed off trash and get killed everyday. These cats r wild and watched
carefully by volunteers from NPOs. My neighbor, commits 12 hours a day of
