前段时间在版上问保养得问题，前天到dealer那看，transmission fluid, brake
fluid, engine oil, battery 什么的都不错，暂时不需要换。只是刹车片，那个黑人
说话听不清，看表上填得是
left front: 4 mms, right front: 4 mms
left rear: 2.5mms, right rear: 2.5mms
不知道还能开多少mi就要换了？前还是后？另外在aap能就到jack和工具自己换吗？
另外轮胎tire tread是
6， 6
5， 5
那个人帮我rotate左边得，而没做右边的，又说了一堆话，说什么平常得对角线
roration不太好，没听清讲什么。。。不知道有没有道理 |

是他们给我算钱是50，他们说因为我用的是Full service，如果我想换high milage这
个优惠也可以。我想着过两个礼拜要跑一次长途，还是full servive算了。
回来看看报告，除了换油，换filter，还查了电池，查了胎压胎痕什么的。
不知道是不是如果选high milage换油优惠就只换油，其他都不管了？
车买回来才半年不到，只在walmart换了两次油，第一次换油只拿着以前车主换油留下
的小条去换，上面只说是美孚1号机油，我也不懂，第一次换了55块钱，这次是50.
不知道被坑了没，还是下次试试High milage oil change？
那个报告上写tire tread 8/32是啥意思？除了一个Driver's front是7/32，其余三个轮胎都是8/32 |

1. Oilfilter apindle came out with old filter. Missing seperator for spindle
. Need to take to technician to get looked at.
2. Uneven tire tread wear on the passenger front.
不知道这两个问题是否严重,能自己搞定第一个吗?到修车铺的话,一般要多少钱才能搞

the reason being that losing traction on rear wheels is much more dangerous
than losing traction on front wheels.
although tread separation will cause the bumpy right you described. But
those should be very obvious. Yourself, myself or any tire store will see it
. that means -> your Sears is fishy. BTW, don't really trust large chain
blindly. each shop are individually management. there is a long list of
scams in each auto repair chain.

follow the maintainence schedule
For example,
the manual would suggest oil change at 6K miles or 3K miles under severe
condition but you change 6K -10K miles
The manual says changing timing belt at 60K but you never did.
tires should be changed if the tread depth is under 1/32 inches but again
you didn't listen. ETC
I don't see any evidence that the car has been taken care of. |

手7-8成新的。选胎的时候还要注意它的速度标准，要满足你车的才行
先说下什么样的轮胎要换，省的花冤枉钱：
- 轮胎的花纹的凹槽tread的深度较浅
- 轮胎凹槽内外侧深度不同
- 轮胎侧壁有明显刮痕或裂纹
2个rotor293美金不算labor的话那他宰死你了。。。。到ebay买个让他安就成了 |

toyota 07 yaris 自动 现在94k （我买的时候86K 上任车主主要用车来高速通勤 一天100
迈）
两周前开去dealer做了90k的service：
replace drive belt
rotate tires
replace engine air filter
之后发现车速度开到30-40的时候 觉得左边前轮一颠一颠的 咚咚咚咚很有节奏。。。
左脚都能隔着车板感觉到震动
但是速度更低或者更高的时候这个现象就没有了
又开回dealer报告了情况 技师说估计是前后轮都有这个状况 但是我坐在前面只听到左前轮的
然后说是因为rotate完没有balance 就给做了个balance
回来开了一天好像没问题 第二天同样的问题又出现了
今天拉去一个非dealer车铺检查 告诉我那咚咚咚的声音是从前轮发出来的 因为tread磨损的不均
匀 我问为啥 说是strut有问题 还把我拉到车侧边指着那个strut（一个像泵一样的东西 连在一截
弹簧下面）说是里面没有pressure了 需要更换 换俩要500。。。 然后俩前轮胎也要一起换

很危险了，必须马上换。今天去了sam's，右前台tread只有3，其它3个轮胎还是7。SAM
'S说，已经过了4年的sam' warranty，不过MANAGER 同意给换，但是只给$10 discount
,换了同大小，但是不同型号的michelin 轮胎。原价$86-$10 discount.
我原来的Michelin写的65,000迈 warranty, 但我只开了28，000迈。给Michelin打电话
，说这个warranty 他们只管从dealer 那里换得，从walmart,sam's 要依照店里的
warranty,sam's 给4年就是4年。
钱不是唯一的问题，我不懂轮胎的warranty怎么执行，比如不到65000迈，出了问题怎
么算？是按比例还是全保新的。轮胎这种东西部较特殊，我们不能拆下来寄过去，那么
sam's 不管怎么办呢？ |

说轮胎Tread 10/32"，是指最深的竖条导水槽，那个磨到2/32”一定得换。有时候中间
纹还好，边上看起来磨平了，其实轮胎还可以。
说实话没检查这个 但是目测气没有任何问题 开起来也没任何不正常 |

报价1.1万，砍价后9300刀（还没签合同、给钱）今天下午去Midas做了一个体检，当时
没有提车，晚上回家考虑。
车行师傅给了如下报告：
1，high pressure power steering pressure line leak？ 维修（134刀labor+195刀
配件）
2，serpentine belt，需要更换，维修（35刀labor，35刀配件）；
3，Fuel System Cleaning Serive,维修（35刀labor，35刀配件）；
4,Battery，维修（110刀）；----师傅说还可以支撑到秋季，但是冬季前需要更换，
5，Front Shock Absorbers replace,维修（159刀labor+146刀配件）
6, Rear Shock Absorbers replace,维修（159刀labor+146刀配件）
另外，车子的左右后轮胎tread只有3/32、6/32厚度（估计再用半年左右需要更换）

刚换了了一对后轮，costco换的差不多将近600刀。这个车后轮天然是negative camber，据称
为了cornering，可一般买菜的谁没事50迈急转弯，所以扯淡。对轮子内测磨损极大，我上一对轮
胎开了一年多而已就直接爆胎，内测全平，tread还看着挺新的。当然跟我很久没做alignment也有
关。
看网上说轮胎要买unidirectional的，因为前后胎尺寸不一样，不能前轮换后轮，一般rotate左
轮换右轮对磨损没有什么帮助。unidirectional的不仅左右胎可以换，内测外侧也得换。
06年的车，保修刚过，天窗tilt就坏了，修据说要4000刀。
另外油老虎，还得要Premium的，加一次油80, 90，就开400迈多点。
当然很多东西都得经过这些教训才长见识。
我的意见，图省心，别买德国车，别的不知道，起码别上X5。Pilot或者Highlander一
类的日本车我觉着挺好。CX-9也不错。 |

10块钱的kit是那种plug kit，这种扎在边上的不能用plug，只能到店里patch。
plug很快而且便宜，大店做也就2、30块，小店10块钱；patch的话就贵了，看这tread
还算深，lz只能自己斟酌了。 |

这里那车屁股已经扭到右边的直行lane了
这时看到一个年轻美国小伙子，二十来岁
跳下来走到车后（还差点滑了一跤）
车的engine没停，车轮还在转，他就开始推车了（人已经在直行道上了）
一开始还没推动，等我下车想帮他一把，刚问了一句
他已经推起来了，就这样一个人把车推着左拐，进了那里边上的停车站
车里再没有别人，没人打方向盘！
说实话，从来没见过这样的猛人，不过这也太危险了

发帖数: 175 | 48 今天去了discount tire，检查轮胎的人看了那个cut说已经有点伤到里面了（见图），
假如hit到什么东西有可能会爆。最后还检查了一下所有tread的深度，都是4.5/32。然
后那边建议全换掉。。。
所以最后的结果是把上次online order的给claim了，goodyear eagle GT, 打印了当时
sears online sale的价钱（93.09），结果今天查价钱涨了不match，最后给了95刀。
所以最后的价钱差不多就是
95*4+11+16*4 - 30 (星期天的online promo)＝ 425 + tax.
当然最后还有40的rebate... 不知这个价钱是不是贵了。。。
PS：快要换车了才换轮胎。。。sigh。。。 |
