其中名气最大的就是Michael Jenkins了
那可真是一个好孩子，每次上课都坐在第二排，这可是有250个人的大课
听课，记笔记，都和别的学生一样认真，说话也很soft,
要不是他一站起来那个高壮的样子，丝毫意识不到他是个football球员
不过成绩嘛，就很一般了，最多是中下水平，写的字和他的个子截然相反
比较幼稚，很认真，很小的字。写的作业一旦举例子必然是关于football
讲道理必然是Tressel讲过的话，可见教练对球员的影响。
对了，还有个女朋友也是运动员，不过长得嘛，实在是不咋样
觉得球员里还是有比较nice的，可能和家里的环境关系还是很大，估计
Jenkins家里条件不错，也不用早早的去NFL赚钱 |

offensive line did such a great job and OSU had no answer for it. The OSU
linebacks were not instense and quick and missed tons of tackles. Typical Big
10 ball, running game establishes everything. Perry, Edwards and Navarre all
proved themselves.
It's not a shame for OSU to lose to this talented team in the bigh house with
such a score. I still like Tressel's composure.

提出10篇，lex回说20，后来breeze为了避免大家bored，提出5 篇，其中至少一篇原创。
我先把这5篇放在这里，如果lex认为不够的话，可以要求一下人一两种：1、继续转15篇
到本版；2、转15篇到Michigan版。
首先，我认为这是UM本赛季目前为止打得最好的比赛。赢UMN固然不错，但是come back
win的比赛终究不是完胜，本场比赛可谓完胜。
赛前准备，从比赛过程来看，双方对进行了精心的准备。UM显然仔细分析了两个队的情况
，吸取了前面球队一条腿打OSU无法取胜的教训，坚决rushing and passing两手抓。同时
提高了special team的准备。OSU仍然是以D为主，拚field position。
比赛过程：OSU 3 and out并不出人意外。意外是UM似乎找到了克制OSU rushing D的秘方
，前两节迅速把比分拉大到了21：0。迫使Buckeyes respond。当然Tressel和Krenzel也

How many team could recover from 3 TOs without panic? How many coaches
still trust QB after 2 int and 2 fumbles when the 2nd guy may be as good?
Look at the fire power we have this year on offense and not to mention
the solid D.

怪异的OSU。
我本来一直非常欣赏USC的教练 Pete Carroll，他和SPURIRER颇有些共同
之处在与，本质上都是属於比较不喜欢POLICICAL，注重业务素质的自由
派学者型人物，这当然也是他们无法胜任NFL主教练的一个重要原因。
但是全年的冠军之争却让我大跌眼镜，PETE屡次三翻的在电视上张口闭口
BEST TEAM，敲锣打鼓的为USC欺负LSU加油助威。同学们，想一下如果USC和
LSU换过来情况将是如何？你还能听到铺天盖地的人类冠军的高音大喇叭
吗？咱们先不说到底谁对谁错(公婆都有理)，但就事态的发展来看，USC
用它强大的势力裹胁了媒体，这个你不得不承认。你不站出来为LSU维持正义，
你就能保证你能次次处於强势团体之中？
这件事让PETE在我心目中的形象大打折扣(当然WHO CARES)；不过偶还是
比较倾向的认为他本质上并非好胜喜功之人，更多的是为学校争名争利，
算是“人在江湖，身不由己”吧。
而OSU的教练JIM TRESSEL却是完全的另外一类人。 |

中餐。
早就听说OSU football is a big deal。尝试着看了两次，基本上找不到球。
偶尔听朋友解释一下规则，增加一些了解。其间还有一个我尊敬的球友委婉的说
football其实比足球好看，当时自然嗤之以鼻。
作为爱运动的人，周末没有球看是极其痛苦。但是看00赛季的buckeyes的比赛更为痛苦。
模糊记得一场对purdue，一路领先，最后时刻crash。The team didn't look like a
team. As a soccer player and leader myself, I highly value teamwork.

就是“不进攻，只防守，踢飞狗”
前十名里除了WEST VIRGINIA就是OSU最 OVERRATED，主要归功于其挤牙膏型 的进攻，不
过OSU 球迷们还振振有辞，言外之意就是“JT 之前我们进攻好结果还输了，痛定思痛，
我们决定不进攻了”。
一帮不求上进的家伙，每天想的就是靠防守，然后最好是 HEISMAN KICKER 踢一个 75 马
的 FIELD GOAL，就是没想到 DEFENSE 也有不丁的时候，40 码的飞狗也不是喝稀饭
我昨天看了比赛，发现 OSU 还是有一些 TALENTED PLAYERS 的，WR 有几个 CATCH 很牛
，但是 QB 在 POCKET 内的 FOOT WORK 烂得一塌糊涂，居然把柏林也羞死了
回到教练身上，JT 是一个 GOOD COACH，但是这场比赛绝对被 OUTCOACHED 了。一个真正
好的教练，应该说能够保证 主场不输给比自己排名低的球队，客场不输给没排名的球队
，更不应该输给西北这种 LAUGHING STOCK。

1 Michigan: 今年Michigan 对 Big10 冠军可谓势在必得的样子。去年的几大主力Chad
Henne，Mario Manningham, Jake Long, 和 Mike Hart 全部都在， 论实力，确实在
2007的Big10里能排第一。最考验UM的一战肯定是对OSU的，个人以为UM赢面较大，因为
沾着主场之利。但是我们OSU打UM从来不分主客场。因此，UM能不能去冠军赛，就看他
能不能在主场赢我们了。
2 Wisconsin: 上个赛季证明它的新教练很牛，而且今年的进攻和防守组的人员都比较
齐整，加上赛程有利，对几个强队都是主场，在Big10有机会坐2望1。
3-5 OSU, PSU, Iowa: 第三以后很难预测。
虽然本人希望OSU能继续前两年的成绩至少拿个Big10 冠军打BCS Bowl，但是今年
buckeye的进攻组是几乎全新的组合，所以客观上很难。希望类似2002的Tressel Ball

就像比赛中间零星灌水里说的, 他的这个双QB系统彻底演砸了, 否则OSU不至于连个TD都score不了. JT这么变打法也许是因为
C. Wells的缺阵,逼他一搏, 而且USC似乎也没有对付摩步QB没太好的办法, 等等. 但是 JT调教出来的OSU从来就不是一支靠怪
招能起到奇效的队伍.
上半场头两三次drive, OSU的进攻还像那么回事, 靠着dinky-dunky一路推进到USC10码线以内, 也许是裁判帮忙,也许是自己
队员的错误, 连连被罚, 就收获了一个field goal.士气在这里大打折扣,一个drive, 上个play还是Boeckman, 下个就换Pryor, 越
搞越乱. 两个QB都根本没机会进入状态, 自己的OL, WR, RB们也不知所措, 全面失控. 防守靠passion, 进攻靠execution, 没进

我们的OC和DC是否有必要keep。现在的buckeye，没有trick play，没有精彩的
decision calling，全是很老套的running game。但是呢，C Wells 偏偏不争气，老是
好不了，然后OL又傻逼，对USC全场形同虚设，造就了可怜的TB drama，简直千夫所指
啊。其实TB再烂，OL如果保护好，还是可以的，上半场那个被叫回的TD就是证明。ESPN
里面很多tOSU的人说要换JT，其实我觉得JT有他好的地方，但是他太软了，我觉得tOSU
要想真正强大起来，必须请urban myer这样的教练，要有魄力，JT的play calling实在
太软了，不知道是否是受OC和DC的影响，其实这两个位置的人都该滚蛋！
怎么说USC呢？感觉丫就是bowl game英雄。打bowl的时候牛逼哄哄，平时choke。前两
场比赛的dominance碰上这个osu全没了，是风格相克吗？我一直觉得college football
存在风格相克一说，tOSU对big 12的球队完全没问 |

上半场Buckeye D防守得非常好，blitz得Mccoy没脾气，也基本shutdown了
UT的run play. 虽然也有UT攻到前场的时候，但Buckeye的D都是bend but
not break, red zone没有给UT什么好的机会。进攻方面非常可圈可点的不多，
但也算solid. Beanie有几个不错的run，倒是TP让人很糊涂，偶尔的几个
pass多数不成功，两三个不错的scrambling却都莫名其妙地提前主动出界，其中
第一次这样情况出现的后果就是最后差两码没拿到first down，好像后来只能
punt了。上半场OSU最大的问题就是犯规，最costly的就是那个底线五码3rd down
and 2的时候Browning（？）false start，丢了一个拿TD的绝好机会。除此以外，
上半场局面其实OSU略占优，55：45开吧，控制了比赛节奏，有点当年Tressel
ball的味道。
下半场开始依然不错，UT吃力推进，Mccoy好像还没有从上半场恢复过来，多个
简单的pass没 |

scholarship offers including Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Oklahoma, Auburn,
Michigan and Tennessee.
The Buckeyes have not offered Brown, but are definitely interested. Brown
has spoken to OSU assistants Doc Tressel and Paul Haynes who would like
Brown to come up to Columbus for Ohio State's spring game. Brown says the
OSU coaches have indicated an offer could be on the way.

幕后运筹帷幄的元帅。Jim Tressel对michigan的战绩是7-1。
以弱胜强，blowout，反败为胜，shootout，good weather, terrible weather,
you name it。在漫长的超过一个世纪的历史中，没有一个tOSU的教练能够做到这一点。
因此真正的屠狼英雄是JT。
09赛季似乎还很遥远，Michigan football is going through some drastic
changes。Who knows what's going to happen in November!
But for now, I'm not convinced the trend will change.
