Last Sunday, I attended a candidate forum with those seeking to replace Cong
. Jesse Jackson, Jr. at Reverend Wright’s former church (he’s still Pastor
Emeritus), Trinity United Church of Christ. 22 candidates have filed to
replace mentally ill congressman, 17 Democrats and 5 Republicans. The

最近读了一本普利策奖得主的新书，《底特律——美国尸检报告》。又恰逢臭名昭著的
Zimmerman案件宣判，底特律市政宣布破产，忍不住就我了解的黑人生活写几句。我这
文章不是煽动仇恨，只想分享一些你在政治正确性的大环境下看不到的故事，不加水分
的故事。
先讲几个《底特律——美国尸检报告》书中的故事。我们都知道底特律是凶杀之都，犯
罪之都，很多人根本不知道底特律是纵火之都。纵火是世界上最无趣的犯罪。凶杀可能
是因为仇恨，抢劫可能是为了谋财，强奸可能是为了满足兽欲，纵火，特别是在底特律
这个房屋价值为负数的地方一点意义都没有。底特律人民为什么喜欢纵火呢？纯粹是为
了娱乐。一张电影票八九块钱，更何况现在底特律市内根本没有电影院。一加仑汽油4
块钱，把邻居家的房子烧了，火可以持续上两个小时，还可以看消防队员救火，娱乐性
很强。 无数底特律的纵火案就是这么发生的。
这个“比电影便宜”是你经常听到底特律人民用的借口。这本书里面还讲了另外一个故
