的都是同一个national exchange board，把你的信息公布上去，等卡车司机去拿。他
们唯一能做的就是估计大概需要什么价格,post it and hope a trucker will pick it
up.
你的车最终总能运走，但是如果你要想在特定的时间和价格上搞定，那就要付出足够多
的钱。

Touring的话，钢架好像还是比较舒服。
另一种选择是29er山地车架，如果你环台路线不都是公路的话。surly的troll 不错。

riding position, and less twitchy. touring frames usually fit fat tires and
racks, which are important for commuting. Is your commute route all flat?
If so, I'd recommend a single speed, e.g. Surly Steamroller. I'm a big fan
of single speed/fixed gear so I may be biased. But for the same money, you
get much better quality out of a single speed.

今天跟闺蜜分析约会的地理优势，结论就是还得去大城市，如果去不了，也得找个中国
人巨多的大学去念书，不然约会场合真是悲剧。倒也不是说非找中国来的不可，但是一
般中国人多的大学城，别的国家学生肯定也不少，整个氛围风气比较包容和多元化，不
至于进了一个红脖州看trucker吃热狗度日的生活，那才是悲剧。
我回想了一下自己大学的整个社交圈，其实也算挺广，几万人的大校园，什么亚裔的不
用说，挨个儿访问，老白的兄弟会也都人了个门儿熟~但是适合咱这种饱含东西方糟粕
（西红柿飞来）文艺女青年的男人真少。
白人男分几种，看球赛喝啤酒不到大四开始秃顶，打游戏学物理跟女人谈话僵硬得像个
木乃伊，文艺男青年社交就是一loser还觉得自己特NB，帅气的但是一张嘴就是智力
不超过100的神人（不知道怎么被录取的），稍微正常一点的但是周末就变成了
manwhore。

从Fairbanks往北到北冰洋岸的几百mile里，零星有些小店铺，加油站，然而在天
寒地冻的极夜里，一路都是杳无人烟。Yukon河畔的小客栈亦是人去楼空。一路上除了
我们的车子以外，倒不时有卡车经过。这就是著名History Channel的reality show：
Ice Road Trucker。 当然show里的遇险经历其实都是夸张。
Dalton highway 的一大看点，就是绵延几百里的输油管。每个Alaska人好像都很
引以自豪，因为这可是alaska的金库。1977年斥资几百个亿建成的输油管线，几年内就
收回了成本。有些管线考虑到冬天低温造成机械应力，所以故意设计成之字形。
午后到了北极圈，在那个著名的标志下留影后，车上有几个游客就原路返回了。而
我们剩下三人将继续北上，前往Coldfoot。
说起coldfoot，貌似一个小镇，其实就是一个临时棚屋客栈，加上一间饭店和加油
站。五年前的夏天我们经过时，嫌客栈太贵，就加了油继续北上camping去了。现在这
季节，就只能住到店里主动挨宰。

曾经有一种印象，极光在Alaska的冬天是满天都有，抬头即可见。然而定机票前匆
匆的research才发现看见极光需要有好几个因素。要有活跃的太阳风，晴朗的夜空，合
适的地点，没有杂光污染，而且月光要弱，最好是新月。今冬太阳非常寂静，
Fairbanks气温偏高导致多云多雾。唯一欣慰的是圣诞节正好是新月，算是碰巧。无知
者无畏，本来欣欣然以为极光将是此行的大餐，经过学习后，才将这一计划放在奢望品
里，希望有惊喜，如不能遂愿，也只能下次再来。
Alaska冬天的天气是很难预测的。我得了强迫症似的不停查天气，但是总是阴天，
或者下雪，能见度不高等不妙的天气。但是每隔几小时变得很快，看来想根据天气追赶
极光也是徒劳。
我们定在Coldfoot夜宿，其实还是为极光而来。Coldfoot的纬度正好在极光带的中
心，极光会出现在头顶的夜空，而且概率最高，如果是Fairbanks则会偏向地平线一侧
。晚上导游带队去一个叫Wiseman的小村子等极光，而我们决定留在客栈里等。听导游
收从十一月十五号开始，就没见到过极光。直到两天前的晚上，才看见非常弱的极光。

decorations are much more expensive, for example, $1200 for a special
designed area rug to match family room painting, $1200 for a leather rug
underneath dinning table .... my interior designer has her own workers and
truckers to pick up, deliver and set up, so it is better for you to search
locally, for example, yelp.

过去几年的维权抗暴的历史，是属于典型的从小到大，从点到面，“从农村包围城市”的过 程。我在几年前就专门写过文章分析这一势态，现在看来，被我言中了。只要上海、广州、天津、北京等这样的大都市动起来了，就离民主革命总爆发的那一天不远 了。大家一起加油，让这一天早日到来。我们已经等待太久了。

Last week, a Polish truck driver was stopped in Germany for driving an Iveco
flatbed loaded up with another flatbed truck carrying a VW-MAN truck carryi

最近常加班，她很疲倦，夹着雨的雪和结冰的道路增加她的紧张。
“妈！”班杰明喊着：“注意！”
在前面的一辆车在一块的冰上失去了控制。巴巴拉踩刹车。那一部车慌乱的旋转着
，翻滚，然后撞到路旁一个电话亭。巴巴拉将自己的车开到路旁，停下来，快速打开车
门。还好她是一个护士，她可以帮助那车上的乘客。但她却踌躇着....
“班怎么办？我不能带着小男孩一起，不能让他看到血淋淋的画面。但留下他一个
人安全吗？如果他的车子被人从后追撞怎么办？其他人一定也会出现。但…不！”，
她对班说：“亲爱的班，答应我，你一定要留在车上！”

科幻片。moon的导演导的。这导演好似作品就这样，说好看还挺好看，说多好看也说不
太上，但看着还可以。其实看着蛮有意思的。
这片子名称起得不好，把故事核给暴露了，很傻。
Vera Farminga，当年很看好的演员，现在也是大妈了。
Michelle Monaghan,参见本thread的第一个帖子，电影trucker就是她主演的，豆沙吼
，还有点歪嘴。
好莱坞的片子，镜头多，剪切多。看最后jake给老爸打电话的片段，坐着说话从四五个
不同的角度给镜头。要是欧洲导演拍，就是一个摄像机就完了，没剪切。 |
