1911年2月，肄业馆改称“清华学堂”（英语：Tsing Hua College，全称为“帝国清华
学堂”，英语：Tsing Hua Imperial College），由军机大臣那桐题写校名，设监督，
由游美学务处会办唐国安和范源濂共同担任。3月，在宣武门内学部举行入学复试，录用
全部468名学生。1911年3月30日（三月初一）举行暂行开学仪式（中等科），4月1日高
等科开学，4月3日（星期一）开始上课，教师由基督教青年会从美国聘请，游美学务处
同时也迁入工字厅办公。学堂招收高小毕业生，学制八年，“四四”学制（中等科四年

将首度为中国优秀大学生设奖，鼓励他们进行赶超世界水平的研究。
世界华人数学家大会由丘成桐和香港晨兴集团主席陈启宗于1998年共同发起，每
3年举办一次，前三届先后在北京、台北和香港举行。“几乎所有的华人数学都将参
加这次大会，其规模是史无前列的。”丘成桐说。开幕式上将颁发被誉为华人数学界
“菲尔兹奖”的晨兴数学奖和晨兴应用数学奖，陈省身奖和国际合作奖，以鼓励在数
学领域取得杰出成就的华人数学家和为中国数学事业发展作出重要贡献的人物。

科学出版社最近出版了著名考古学家、中国社会科学院考古研究所研究员、研究生院教
授、伦敦大学考古学博士唐际根教授的大作《考古与文化遗产论集》一书，我虽治商周
彝铭研究有年，然才疏学浅加之缺乏田野考古实践，所以至今也不敢归队到专业考古学
科研人员行列之中。蒙唐兄不弃，使我有机会在第一时间内就得到了他的赠书。通读之
下，多有振聋发聩、耳目一新之感，骨鲠在喉，欲吐之而快，因成是文！
该书收录了唐际根教授从事商代考古学专题研究的学术论文共33篇，从内容上看，作者
先后分为考古学理论与方法、商研究、铁器与冶金术、文化遗产四个部分。其中，“考
古学理论与方法”收论文9篇，“商研究”收论文18篇，“铁器与冶金术”收论文3篇，
“文化遗产”收论文3篇。内容上虽然分为四个部分，但是全部论文皆为围绕殷墟考古

年到现在共只有２７５３篇次的文章被发表，可见其分量多重啊，比起physical
review seriers 和 PRL 都高级很多啊，我一个南京大学的同学说就他们学校的一个
做群论的叫做陈金全的教授发过一次，并且他后来有可能再被邀请发一次，不幸他过早
的去世了，然后中国（至少内地）就没有一个发过这个东西。陈金全的那本名作我是有

学家杨振宁主持演讲，林家翘、李学勤和陈来教授分别提出了相关问题。
本篇论文分为五个部分，即河西地在秦史上的重要意义、墨者巨子制始末考辨、献
公朝墨者仕秦考实、图强运动中墨者的主要贡献和结论。由于本刊版面所限，只能刊登

went to Harvard for one year then came to us. He told me: if you got your
PhD from US, stay there, if you got from China, stay there.
My point is if you are fresh and go back, you don't have much to give, your
connection to US is maybe only your advisor, and you lost your connection in
China since you haven't been back for 4-5 years?
So if you want to go back, get prepared. You may not get all you are offered
