发帖数: 29 | 1 前段时间看到有人说起 Costco 80 gallon的compost tumbler($99), 觉得一个大的并
不方便，买二个的话，种菜成本就上去了，就想着自己做几个。在Youtube查了一下，
发现很多人用55 Gallon的plastic barrel自制Compost Tumbler，就从Craigslist上$
40买了四只barrel。
先是在barrel上开一个16x16英寸的门，给“门框”安了一个wooden frame。这个
wooden frame一是加固这个开口，二是今后在滚动中起到更好地翻动compost的作用。
门的安装，几乎youtube上所有人都用铰页（hinge)和插销，本人不喜欢将门连在一体
，也考虑到今后两只tumbler会装成“上下铺”的形式，因此，改成了现在这种可以拆
装的门，既方便又省钱。然后，用3/8"的钻头在barrel四周钻出很多“通气”孔。
Tumbler的安装架子，每只架子用了一包concrete mix埋了两根2x4-6'的treated wood

我延长那个木框的直档到barrel的两端，因为我要让它起到翻动的作用。在做完第一只
时，我先测试了一下，发现翻动的效果很好，后面加进去的草，在三五圈的滚动后就能
大致混均匀。 |

我随便说说吧。那个 costco 的 composter 还是非常好的 deal 的。
我看过那个 tumbler, 双层的，保温。Compost 是规模效应，大的好。
而且高温的那个步骤过去以后，你就可以换到其他的很便宜的容器里了。
流水线。
costco 那个里面还有搅拌的横杠，你可以参考一下这个设计。不然滚动
不能真正搅拌，容易滚成球那样。
我觉得那个 PVC 不能承受这样的重量。 |

我的tumbler里面也有横杠，就是那个frame，实际翻动效果很好。
PVC不是用来承重的，那根EMT铁管才是，PVC套在外面只是防锈。 |

ignition and tap it fairly hard with the end of a screw driver or a mallet
as if to drive it into the steering columne and it will then turn. The lock
tumblers are not falling back properly keeping the lock frozen If you have a
locksmith change the tumblers it will be a 50.00 fix. If you go to the
dealer expect about 300.00”

发帖数: 274 | 43 tumbler虫子多可能是你转得少。应该每天转一转。compost不会完全没有虫，但是翻少
了虫子下在表面的卵就孵出来了。你也可以每次先转一转再打开虫子旧都埋到下面了。
我觉得tumbler不太会发热因为太小了。六七十加仑的堆才比较容易热。
