决背后来自两西班牙的威胁，那里有庞培的7个军团，都是老兵组成，富有经验，只是
缺乏坚强有力的统帅的统一指挥，这是要首先解决的，同时，盛产谷物的Sardinia和航
运的要地Sicily也是必需的，解决这些之后就可以面对在希腊和小亚细亚的Pompey了。
北非虽然比起这些地方来，重要性没那么大，但一样要警惕，不可以给Pompey党在那里
征集起一支大军的时间和便利。在非洲方向对付Pompey党人的任务最后就落到了Curio

随手找了一个世行的数据，是1960-1976年的。你也可以找出联合国的数据，用1950年
的数据替代1960年，结果一定是一样的，那就是中国人口增长人数最多。

但是我附加一点：
这几个地名都是不断变化的。比如亚细亚本来连阿拉伯，印度都不包括，后来连中国日
本都含进去了。
现在的阿非利加这个词一般说是罗马人起的名字，说的就是你说的北非西部那一块。罗
马还有一个阿非利加省。但是更早古希腊人那里，比如希罗多德时代，把埃及西边的北
非叫做利比亚。埃及南边叫做“阳光灼热之地”（Afriki)。把黑人叫做太阳之子，或
者阳光之子。
至于罗马人给迦太基那一代起的名字Africa，是不是意译或者音译了希腊人，是有争论
的。多半说是意译了希腊人的，也就是意思上也是“阳光之地”，但是位置不同，从罗
马的视角的南方，有了转移。后来被阿拉伯人抄去了。

据来源是世行。中国年均GDP增幅是5.22%，在这104年个国家里排到44位，算是中上。
作为对比，同期世界各国GDP增幅平均为4.96%。
也就是说，在中国仍然搞计划经济的这18年里，在中国拿出大量人力物力财力开发大杀
器的时候，在中国大搞阶级斗争文化革命的这个年代里，中国经济增长速度依然是高于
世界大多数国家的。如果这样的经济也能被形容为“陷入经济崩溃边缘”，那岂不是全
世界大多数国家都已经掉悬崖里摔死几遍了？
再来看第二组数据，同样是世界银行的数据。选了1980-2008这28年。中国GDP年均增速
高达9.91%，是世界同期平均增速的近三倍，在全球所有国家里遥遥领先。所以说，改
革开放也不是说一片黑暗，光看这个数据就很喜人嘛，至少优于1961-1978年期间的表
现。所以说，批判改革开放的时候，也要承认改革开放的确是有成绩的。当然现在的突
出矛盾是，没有人要否认改开导致经济总量增长，只是对这个经济增长的代价巨大感到

What's the difference between Libya and Yemen or Bahrain?
All three states have been using violence to crush pro-democracy protests.
But only against Libya are the US and its Western allies planning a military
response.
Yemen and Bahrain's crackdowns have so far been met only with words, not

Britain announced on Friday that it would imminently start moving fighter
jets as well as air-to-air refuelling and surveillance aircraft to bases
closer to Libya.
France was also making plans to scramble fighter planes.
Canada plans to deploy six CF-18 fighter jets as well as up to 200 military
personnel to support the planes.
Denmark said it would send six F-16 planes and one military transport plane
with about 100 personnel.
