Spring clean up:春天刚回暖，草地雪化完以后就可以clean up了， 主要就是把枯枝
落叶清一清。
dethatching：如果草坪有些年头了，经年的枯草会结成一层厚厚的thatch，超过0.
5inch就全 不利于根部透气肥料渗透。这就需要用专门的dethatch耙子（Thatching
Rake）把草坪梳一遍，把thatch层打散，并去掉一些枯草。地太大的话最好租电动的拉
着耙子，省时省力。
Aeration: 也就是打孔透气。用aerator把地里打一个个深一点的空，让根部呼吸。
以上三项自己做的话要半天，请人做大概$200-400。
施药防crabgrass+施肥

在这:
AG(Artificial Grass)人工草地就不多说了, 以上的连接都是在人草的场地上拍摄的.
总结说起来就是草的长度接近标准场地,场地上还撒有小的橡胶颗粒以便加强摩擦.
Turf呢这里有两个意思, 分别为普通的Turf(土地)和Artificial Turf(人工薄草地):
第一个Turf指的是那些长杂草的空地, 一般没有经过正规的维护, 草秃又少的那种.举
个例子,一个公园里的草地,咱们经常雨后去踢, 把草给踩死了, 久而久之就变成Turf了
.(有多少中枪的)
后面这个AT(Artificial Turf)就是人工的薄草地,也就是我们所说的地毯.现在看来,
这个AT的解释跟国内很多的场地的感觉是一样的, 所以我觉得很有可能就是.特点就是
草短(接近秃), 感觉就是在水泥地上铺了一层塑料草.
AG和Turf的鞋子是有明显的区别的:
AG的鞋子的钉子比Turf要少, 估计是因为Turf的草短,地更硬, 需要更多的支撑点.另外

搞了三小时，踢了两拨人，第一拨人对手水平较差，踢第一拨人是用新TURF鞋，踢的很
别扭。第二波人水平好一点，实在受不了TURF鞋，换回CLEAT脚下感觉恢复，踢得很嗨
，助攻无数，就是自己5到6个单刀不进，TURF鞋把射门感觉全搞丢了。
刚买了个低版本55刀的TURF NIKE BOMBA，试试带球射门，感觉这鞋很差，长年踢惯
CLEAT这TURF鞋穿着就是别扭。 |

很容易把纤维搞断。所以这种球场里一般要求穿indoor shoes,不允许穿cleats.这种鞋
应该没问题。早期indoor soccer的球场用这种turf的很多. 你去踢indoor league，
可以看看球场是什么要求。
后来turf技术越来越好，一般都没这个问题了，用于户外的turf都是这类。 |

//这个是预防grub的吧？不是那种已经有grub之后才用的东西吧。去年没经验，深受害
虫（黑色的跳动的像跳蚤，至今不知道到什么害虫）所害，今年都预防一下。
我二月底撒了那个Crabgrass Preventer，好像没啥效果，比去年没撒长的杂草还多。
当然主要我不是很懂得打理草坪，很好的一块草坪在我手里质量一年一年变差，慢慢向
我左边邻居看齐。我左边邻居从来不撒肥料，任凭每年杂草怎么长，除了割草，其他什
么都没做，看着就不是居家草坪，像野外荒地草坪。

夏天除了剪草就不用做什么了，做什么都没有用。好草长的慢，野草长的快。
但是注意剪草的时候留最高或者次高的一档，让好草扎根深一点。草剪短就毁了，我家
前面的草坪去年被劳模减的非常短，然后就开始变秃了。

秋天开始，OVERSEED，就是把杂草清一清，然后不好的地方补种种子。补种子的时候用
那个SCOTT的LAWN SOIL比较管用，先刨松了土，撒一层LAWN SOIL，撒种子，盖一层
LAWN SOIL.要是天冷了或者干，弄点那种干草或者絮絮一样的东西当被子还是挺好的。
树下补适合SHADE的种子。

冬天杂草都死了，好事，可是好草也怎么不长。撒了一次SCOTT TURF BUILDER

turf说白了就是一大弹性塑料垫子，上面弄点塑料须须。弹性很大。俺也不知道为什么

几个月前认识的，在我们经常踢PICK UP的TURF场子，看两小孩在练球，就凑了过去。
长传、颠球、下底传中、门前抢点、点球、还赌了打横梁，没什么压力，反到觉得自己
老当益壮。闲聊得知，其中一个在DALLAS踢职业，二十岁。另一个踢过COLLEGE校队。
踢职业的那小孩说是回来两星期，先VISIT老妈，然后再去VISIT老爸，K，爸妈还不在
一个城市。
之后在这个TURF场的PICK UP GAME中就能经常见到他，这一踢GAME立刻让我刮目相看。
PICK UP中不乏COLLEGE水平的小崽儿，也有不少象我这样的老油条。一个标准场地挤了
小三十人。那小孩体力超好，应该是踢中后场位置的，跑动接应中的FIRST TOUCH、护
球和出球明显不一样，动作流畅、合理，在激烈的对抗下表现得游刃有余。不过，要说
花活和射门，还真没看到什么让人眼前一亮的东东。就是特别简单合理，好象一部大机
器中的一个齿轮，一看就是专业教练调教过的，只可惜他混在我们这种低水平的PICK

最近气温攀升很快，新泽西的童鞋这周开始可以做spring cleanup，上crabgrass
preventer，施肥了。由于今年是暖冬，冬天草都没怎么枯，自己看看草坪没什么
thatch层的话今年就可以偷懒skip dethatching和Aeration了:)crabgrass preventer
最好这周和下周就上了，连翘花的花骨朵已经出来了。常用的Scotts

property这些, 但是new yorker只能拥有turf那么一小块地皮，还习以为常。不过new

发帖数: 255 | 45 最近气温攀升很快，新泽西的童鞋这周开始可以做spring cleanup，上crabgrass
preventer，施肥了。由于今年是暖冬，冬天草都没怎么枯，自己看看草坪没什么
thatch层的话今年就可以偷懒skip dethatching和Aeration了:)crabgrass preventer
最好这周和下周就上了，连翘花的花骨朵已经出来了。常用的Scotts
Turf Builder plus Halts Crabgrass Preventer Spring Lawn Fertilizer 在Costco
，Lowes，HD都有得卖。
三月
Spring clean up:春天刚回暖，草地雪化完以后就可以clean up了， 主要就是把枯枝
落叶清一清。
dethatching：如果草坪有些年头了，经年的枯草会结成一层厚厚的thatch，超过0.
5inch就全 不利于根部透气肥料渗透。这就需要用专门的dethatch耙子（Thatching
Rake）把草坪梳一遍，把thatch层打散，并去掉一些枯草。地太大的话最好租电动的拉
着耙子，省时省力。

enough to sponsor lot of extra curriculum/after-school programs, makes the
school immune to PPS budget cut in 2010/2011. In summer of 2011, the school
will replace current grass turf with a new artificial turf which costs +400K
, all on private donations, first kind in PPS district. You go figure where
you want your kids to play and grow up while retain/grow your property value
