TOSHIBA 6200 Progress Scan DVD player
前几天去朋友家玩 (They have a Sony home theater system from
sears)
看DVD 唱卡拉OK, 感受到了音响的重要性, 决定
最近买 receiver 和 speakers, but have no idea about them.
朋友告诉偶 Sony is not a good brand for receiver, he
recommend Yamaha. 偶去 tweeter 看了一下, too many choices
and too many features. 各位发烧友给偶扫扫盲吧
至少给偶介绍介绍一些关键的feature, 买的时候要注意什么.

to think where to mount the tweeter and crossover.
I have both my cars extreme made over :) for the odyssey, nothing
from factory left, not even wires, hohoho... speakers are polk
component. headunit is my carPC. two amps one for speakers one
for subwoofer. hohoho.
for my TL I have 4 speakers replaced now, front changed to component
and rear replaced with pioneer. subwoofer removed but haven't installed
new yet. |

have never auditioned a Nautilus. but I heard they have a bright and froward
family sound. my KEF is pretty bright and forward too, but the brightness
may come from the 27khz metal cone break up (resulting a peak in freq
response). the b&W diamond dome should be pretty smooth. |

你不是要在墙上嵌入音箱，那音箱方向就没法调了。Klipsh的工程师说那壳不能调了，
那就调芯吧。人家把woofer和tweeter设计的可以在壳里转方向。这idea专利一下不过
分吧。觉得算个好东西。好多科普5.1系统音箱的布置上，不也建议音响的方向都应该
冲着听者的位置吗。 |

tweeter and the rubbers on the large drivers'.
Check the web for specs. Older Proac are all 88dB - harder to drive than
others. I use Audiolab 8000A to drive them. |

把一直当音源的sansa fuze换成wd tv mini加一个7寸的on dash LCD屏幕。
wd tv mini带光纤输出，用光纤连接至trunk里的朝露d2解码器。
朝露d2模拟输出至一台soundstream mc245功放。(功放和解码都是去年加的，解码的电
源是专门找的pure sine wave inverter）
后门上再加一对tweeter，和后座头枕后面的两分频coaxial喇叭一起接到一对
crossover上，让coaxial喇叭只负责中低频。
现在只要把mp3拷到u盘里，插到wd tv mini上就能听了。wd tv mini还支持ape和flac
，听无损也没问题。屏幕比较差，但放个rmvb的电影也能凑合看。下一步打算加个8寸
的sub，和一个equalizer。车里面的声学环境太差，似乎equalizer是少不了的东西。 |

contain overload protection circuit. You may blow tweeters since most of the
energy of human voice concentrate at high frequency. Some people do share
speakers and they may get lucky but I have seen plenty of such examples.
Your luck also depends on your singing style:-).
If you really want to, you can add a compressor/limiter before the output of
mic enter amplifier. |

As a personal preference, I liked silk dome tweeters better than metal (Al
or Ti) but if you went with KEF kit that may not be an option.
Q: are you going to have front cover or not? If so, what/how are you going
to do with that?

are read cheap though, but works as good as any.

amps. it's all in your volume control. if the amp is underpowered, high
volume damages your tweeter by clipping. if the amp is overpowered, high
volume damages your woofers by exceeding excursion limits. |
