Lawmakers Push Immigration/UAFA

Key House lawmakers convened a press conference Thursday on Capitol Hill in
conjunction with an array of 37 advocacy groups to voice their support for
including LGBT families in the comprehensive immigration reform effort.

UAFA's Record Number of Cosponsors

as cosponsors of the bill that would allow gay and lesbian Americans to

UAFA每年都拿出来讨论，从来都没通过过，现在看来，UAFA也还是白日梦，恐怕还没有

support"。那靠同性伴侣移民只能等法院或是国会废除DOMA了。
如果pro-LGBT Immigration Equality是对的，“those that are preaching for our

就是一例， UAFA会不会是下一个？在这一点上，我发现LAW MAKERS还是很有创意的
，DE结婚肯定是不行，那就先认领PARTNER的BODY（可惜最后还是被州长否决了）。 |

PROP 8案子的判决。 |

发帖数: 4174 | 11 不让男同献血不算歧视,尽管可以再多做点研究，把男同分出LOW RISK， HIGH RISK
来。和其他问题，DOMA， GAY MARRIAGE，DADT， ENDA， UAFA等等，比起来不是
个大问题。
我觉得大家都同意，不让男同献血是歧视。 |

it wont change in time for us. my husband and I have been together for 11
years, married for almost 2 now in California. We leave for Canada in
November as I am Canadian and I am being deported. My husband is a US
citizen. Many say oh its Canada its beautiful there, very true, but its very
hard after 11 years of your lives is here and the choice to leave is not
ours. I do hope others get the chance to stay, it will cle |

我不太明白LZ的意思啊，美国的联邦法不承认同性婚姻，你当然不能以spouse的身份申
请来美国了。以domestic partner的身份更不可能了，UAFA就是address这个问题的一
个bill，已经提了十年了都还没通过。总而言之，你们在加拿大的婚姻一点用都没有，
你只能靠自己申请来美国。至于那个律师说的，我一点都不明白他什么意思。 |

或是通过UAFA，可靠的当然是自己职业移民，我认为中印排期问题明年最迟后年会解决
，所以要想想怎么给自己创造条件尽快的赶上下一波。最后，就是要有点阿Q精神，相
信困难是暂时的，不天天在一起，各人可以利用这个时间做一些需要静心才能做的事，
而且，难得在一起，不是每次都像新婚吗？ |

House of Representatives on February 12, 2009, by New York Congressman
Jerrold Nadler (D-NY). There are currently 118 cosponsors of this bill in
the United States House of Representatives. Shirley Tan is a leading
activist for the bill. |
