There are 3 people in my office that are currently on h1b.Guess I don't
really know the current policy for new hire.

changed their practices. I was told recently by UHC that they did not
sponsor anymore. Also if you check the UHC career website and select H1b for
citizenship, you will find no actuarial positions. But EAD or TN visas
should be fine. |

Both UHC and WellPoint used to sponsor but have stopped doing so. It may
change as the economy and job market improve. From what I know, Humana is
hiring a lot of actuaries and they still sponsor working visa and green card
although Kentucky is not a popular place for Chinese. |
