Wiles我就不说了， 一直是Princeton的教授。他单干， 完全是他自己的选择。 没有

Perelman的数学教育，经历以及最后的数学成就， 没有一个算是是体制外的。
Perelman 大概94年 （metric geometry 以及对Riemann 几何的应用）就很有名了。
他做过45分钟报告。 他自己回俄罗斯单干完全是自己的选择 （他不是很喜欢教书；
据说Stanford想雇他， 让他发个CV。 他拒绝了。最后这个是八卦， 我不知道真伪）
。他在94年前后对Ricci flow已经有所发现（看了Hamilton的文章，并且意识到
Hamilton的困难）他好像想和Hamilton合作， 但是Hamilton拒绝了他（Hamilton也是

1。北大的人自己批评自己，并不意味着他们也欢迎外人批评他们。就好比说咱们同
学也经常骂北化，但一听到外校的人说北化不好也会很不高兴一样。
2。这篇文章没头没尾，仅在标题处有个“ZT”，不了解内情的人可能会认为是化大
