不是专家，只是刚刚走过一遍，以下是仅限于我说知道的：
1）父母给的Money如果从你账户转到你老公账户超过两个月就无所谓了，因为loan und
erwrting的时候只要求最近两个月的statement。至于你们夫妻之间是否需要写gift le
tter，我觉得可以先不用，等到lender underwriting的时候找你要的时候再给写个Gif
t Letter或LoE（Letter of Explaination）也无所谓，很方便。
2）还款的时候是否用共同账户，我觉得如果之前没有，也没有太大必要专门为此设置一
个，而转来转去，最后反正也是你老公一人名字贷款。

前天onsite interview，是dream company之一，湾区搞半导体技术的。一到公司先是一
个technical presentation的面试，45分钟，PPT讲自己的PhD research和show自己的s
kills，经理和另外三个人在场。之后，是经理和那三个人以及部门老板总共5个人一一

房子将在8月中旬CLOSE，但是购屋合同里规定，银行的LOAN COMMITMENT LETTER 必须
要在7月底拿到。我三周前就开始和不同的银行接触，当时利率比较底，基本上每一家
都能给到5.625 with no points，有一个贷款专员NANCY WANG， 朋友以前用过，又经
常在当地的中文报纸上坐广告，就圈定了这个NANCY WANG，刚开始，她信誓旦旦，一旦
拿到APPRAISAL REPORT，第二天就可以给COMMITMENT LETTER，而APPRAISER 做完
APPRAISAL，几个小时就可以给REPORT，上上周六APPRAISER就做完估价，於是我从上周
一开始，每天都问她一下LOAN 的进展，基本上都是两行字的EMAIL或一个简短的电话，
刚开始她只是说没有拿到APPRAISAL REPORT， 上周三，说拿到REPORT了，但是没有时
间处理我的申请，周四下午，再问她的时候，她保证周五能作出来，周五下午三点，打
电话过去，她说刚刚交给UNDERWRITER，今天不一定能做出来，我挂了电话，越想越不

以前我们学过的一个盲聋小孩海伦成为作家的事，她小时候因为不能和外界交流，所以

的影片Lorenzo's Oil。讲的一家人的小孩Lorenzo突然得了一种罕见的病，病情恶化很
快，孩子很快就不能动了，活不过一年。爸爸本来是个商人，放弃了工作，一头栽进生

化合物，还私自用在孩子身上（因为那时孩子就快死了），居然成功了。孩子已有的病
