伤害不同的利益集团。我认为床铺提fair trade非常对，因为不能允许另一方使用

我老板有一个法国的科研朋友（叫她C吧），他们五年前在美国曾经是同事，还一起发
了一篇paper。后来C去了法国继续做这篇paper的工作，而老板招了我继续往下做。后
来我这边做得比较顺利，想了一些很好的idea也发了一些abstract。
有一年暑假，C专门过来我们组让我给她解释我的方法、公式等等，再后来我们的方法
又有新的进展，于是email频繁来往，我们解释了C的所有疑问，并帮她设计实验。C很
快就按照我们的方法做了实验，采了数据，而且要投journal paper了，但是我和老板
都不是coauthor,而且C只感谢了老板，没有提我的名字。对此，我跟老板提出来，我感
到unfair,老板说他也感到Unfair，并要求C加上我们的名字。结果被拒。。。
现在我的问题是，我应该采取什么手段来保护自己的利益呢？我可以写信给那个jounal
的editor in chief说这件事情吗？我有所有的email作为evidence来证明这个方法是我
们原创的。
请大家支招。。。要不然我5年phd都白搭了。。。

判分时候最考究的是权重比是否合情合理，是否能反映了学生的真实水平，换句话说，
一个学生对这个题目的idea和步骤都很清楚，但中间算错了一个参数，导致后半部分从
数据显示来看，就全都错下去了----合理的权重比是最多扣掉20%，那么指责她unfair
的意思就是她扣掉了50%，也就是错的后半部分，这样会导致这类学生委屈的不得了，
估计都能哭出声来。也许对她而言，她认为学生不应该算错而导致后半部分都错，但对
学生而言，能理解能标示出对这套题目的正确步骤，就已经很不容易了。
这样的教授不要也罢，搞的学生都民愤极大，最后学生们都告诫自己的弟弟妹妹不要报
考这个学校，一传十，十传百的，这个校长就坐不稳了。

醒了我一下说如果你自己小孩需要用，以后得买回来的。因为当时他也打算donate，结
果听说买回来的费用很高，就花钱存private bank了。
于是我就写了一封长信问public bank的负责人。我了解到的信息是：
1。收集和存储成功率是50%。不成功的扔掉或者用作research.
2。public bank不会给你confirmation或者record告诉你存储成功。
3。如果你的小孩病了，你要通知bank.
4. 存储成功的话，会无限期存下去。
5。如果你的小孩或者家人病了，或者其他任何人病了，要用这个cord blood，都需要

心情真是坏到了极点，辛辛苦苦为公司卖命快3年了，每天工作十几个小时。刚刚发现
自己怀孕了，告诉老板（一个50+，离过n次婚，没有孩子的工作狂人）我不能再继续接
触化学品，辐射之类的东西了，并把doctor's notes给了他。人家说考虑考虑，以下是
人家考虑的结果：
1/ 要吗回来继续正常的工作，要不就none pay leave,并且在离开期间自己付保险，公
司没有任何paid leave 给孕/产妇
2/ 没有desktop job给我做，哪怕是part time （我觉得他是故意找茬，我是research
scientist, 其实平时还是由research job 要作的）
3/ 不会把我调到其他部门，因为没有合适的职位给我
公司的HR建议我申请disability(6个月），可是这个要拿到医生的签字好像很难

have to struggle even for some privacy! I rarely get my own time. It is also
unfair that my contribution and hard working didn't get recognized! So I am
going to say it! I'm very tired after everyday's work, and I'm pround of
myself to be able to handle work and two kids so well at the same time!

If you believe, over the years among thousands of schools, there is no
single ONE case of discrimination against Chinese applicant in favor of a
comparable Jewish student, I am speechless about you!
Then according to your own belief, everyone else except God, one does not (
have to) trust, why should we trust the admission officers? why not bring on
the race-blind selection (easy to do: hide the name and race info), and we
don't need to doubt anymore.
