有的地方的uninsured 是包括 hit and run 事故中，没有抓到肇事者的，
这些地方，或者这些保险公司，把没有抓到的肇事者判定为uninsured
还有些地方，uninsured 不包括没有抓到的肇事者，当然，如果抓到了肇事者，而肇事
者没有买保险，保险公司还是会赔钱给你。
这些地方，如果没有抓到责任人，就只能通过comprehensive 赔偿，这个，你没有买
，所以只能自己吃亏了
细查你自己保险policy， 看看自己的情况属于哪一类，如果自己是cover的，打电话给

发帖数: 264 | 5 今天傍晚我在高速上被追尾，因为traffic的原因所以不时的需要刹车，而后面的一辆
白色的车没刹住就撞上来了。后来停到路边之后，白车车主说是他后面的一辆绿车撞了他
，然后他再撞了我，而我只感觉到白车撞了我，对再后面的事情并不清楚，问题是在高
速上车很多，那辆绿车早已经不见了。我因为怀孕5个月了，特别担心宝宝会受到影响
，后来警察叫了ER被送到医院去检查了，所幸现在看起来没事。现在刚从ER回来，有几
个问题想请交大家：
1. 我的车后面的保险杠有一些裂痕，我准备现在给对方保险公司打电话claim, 但是不
知道对方会不会把责任都推到第三辆绿车上去，这样的话是不是他的保险就不负责我的
车，而我需要自己保险的uninsured来出？如果是我保险的uninsured出，这算我的责任
吗？（因为去年已经有一次车祸，所以比较担心有两次记录）我该怎么向保险公司
claim才比较好呢？我当时没有记住给白车拍照，会不会这样就没有证据了呢？
2. 我被送去ER后警察叫了拖车公司把我的车拖走了，如果对方保险能cover，和我用自
己的uninsured cover, 拖车费和ER的费用是否都能cover呢？ |

你是肇事的， 这根对方uninsured没啥关系， 你别误解uninsured就会放过你
保险公司能追多少就是多少， 除非你不care自己的credit, 对方也那你没办法，

大家都不要买GEICO了，GEICO是个大骗子！除非你买全保，否则你的车如果被Hit and
run, 他的 uninsured property coverage要求你提供撞你车的人的信息，才给保。这

我的车去年趴楼下，一觉醒来，车屁股被保，车灯被废。电话过去，GEICO说这么个操
蛋的事，俺们很同情啊，不过你知道是谁撞得吗？根据indiana的龟腚guideline要提供

个月的价格是：

Uninsured Motorist $500,000/$500,000 $14.50
Underinsured Motorist $25,000/$50,000 $1.00
Underinsured Motorist $500,000/$500,000 $113.50
看来Underinsured Motorist是经常发生的事情，买的高的话要加很多钱，大家觉得有

保险杠全撞没了，里的零件也撞扁了，本来已经很心痛了，结果还碰上了更加倒霉的事
。驾驶员是个92年的小黑，不是车主，而这辆车的保险刚刚过期好像一个礼拜，我打电
话叫的警察，警察来了写了个REPORT，因为对方全责，也没什么好争辩的，写好报告警
察就走了，我当时已经跟警察反应这个车保险过期了，小黑跟警察说最新的保单落在了
家里，警察信了，我也信了，我不晓得后来有没有给他罚单，反正心痛归心痛，也就只
好让他这么走了。
结果这两天跟对方保险公司一联系，对方说这辆车是UNINSURED,这人也是UNINSURED，
而且不接保险公司电话，GEICO感觉有点想推卸责任，我跟自己的保险公司（
progressive）说了这个情况，保险公司说如果对方保险公司正式DENY我的claim的话，
我就要付500的deductible来修车。
这是我的第一辆车，之前也没开车的经验，所以买保险的时候根本不懂到底应该选什么
，我看经纪人推荐给我的比我网上自己查的价格要低不少，当时也就糊里糊涂签了字，

别人的车，好在我们买了uninsured的保险（Progressive的 据说Geico的uninsured是
不花deduct的）如果没有uninsured的话估计跟你一样了要用自己的collision的去修，
我们当时被撞的只是后边的bumper，bumper裂了，bodyshop出来就2200多刀，自己花了
100刀deductible，保险公司说会向撞我们的那方追钱，如果追到100块钱deduct会退给
我们，现在已经一年半多了，保险公司也没动静了 |

发帖数: 3417 | 19 1.那是geico的这一项不好。要不这一项怎么这么便宜呢。有的公司是$250 deductible
(看各个州的规定了），上限可以自己选，$25K,$100K，看自己车的价值。有的公司
uninsured/underinsured property damage 和uninsured/underinsured bodily
liability是一个package，要不都选，要不都不选。
2。medical payment，自己考虑要不要。很多没有医疗保险的人或者自己做business，
自己买医疗保险的，还有医疗保险是high deductible的，medical payment至少买到
deductible的上限。你举同事的例子，他完全可以用自己保险的uninsured/
underinsured bodily liability （如果他买了这项），还可以申请误工费等等。然后
保险公司的律师去找那个没有保险热肇事者。完全不用他自己去找律师。 |

发帖数: 47 | 21 uninsured BI 还是挺重要的，尤其是经常出差的人。因为如果在外州出了比较严重的
问题，受了伤，按照法律一定会被先转入local的医院，除非买了非常好的PPO保险，否
则算是out-of-network的费用，在转院回in-network的医院之前的花费，哪怕自付20%
都可能是天文数字。uninsured BI就可以cover这个。
另外，Uninsured还cover住在一起的relative，如果父母过来，没有个人的医疗保险，
这个就更不能省了。 |

当然用自己公司的uninsured，0 deductible. agent说不会涨保费。如果涨就换一家。
根本原因not your fault.
对方保险都不买，估计没钱。剩下的就是你的保险公司怎么样去敲诈对方个人的钱，碰
到个没钱人，自己的保险吞了。警察估计会给个ticket让上庭处理uninsured的事情。
