There is also a follow up question: enumerate all possible paths.
For example, n = m = 2, all possible paths = 6, which are

(2,2)->(1,2)->(1,1)->(0,1)->(0,0)
(2,2)->(1,2)->(1,1)->(1,0)->(0,0)
(2,2)->(2,1)->(2,0)->(1,0)->(0,0)

Scan from left to right
increase counter for that char
If this counter is 1, increase cc;
If cc == 2, record a candidate;
If cc== 3 {
Move left side till we get cc == 2;
Cc-- if one char freq is 0.
