和进来以后是不是可以请假还不是HM说了算的)。往年我们都可以直接去univeristy点
名要人,只要我们有证据说这个candidate想来我们这，还真没有要不到过。今年比较邪

need to go to the city website to find the information. Also in Chicago, you
have big univeristies. Universities have dental school. They will have
student dentist, usually do dental work only 1/3 of regular price. Also in
student dental clinic, first exam is free. Then they will give you fee
listing for the dental work, and it is up to you to do it or not.
So search for your Dad. |

糖尿病，也64岁了。
不过我有朋友说可以找著名医学院（比如我们附近的emory）的临床医师，Augusta
univeristy 她认为不够牛。我就没概念了。也许人家是因为家乡在这里，才在这里工
作的？还是他毕业那会儿医生工作不好找？还是医疗中心的工作比自己开诊所好？
emory也许教学牛，临床也许Augusta University Medical Center也不差呢。我没有在
美国上过学，更不了解医学院。求助！ |

， 如果严重， 是需要长期 low dose antibiotics. 基本要半年， 或者更长， 然
后每半年检查一次。 这种我想不可避免， 不能动不动就让娃娃发烧。
但是如果是轻微的， 这个没有一定了， 所以家长要慎重。
我比较生气的就是， 儿科医生还不知道我们家是否严重， 还是轻微， 就直接让吃。
我质疑他， 他也认同我说的一些， 让人感觉很不地道。 后来发现的情况非常轻微，
专家也说不需要。
P.S, 这个儿科医生是在princeotn univeristy附近的医生， 按理说应该是不错的。
我同事还有， 本来要两种药丸一起吃才有效果， 然后医生只给开了一种的。 还是他
自己做了research， 后来通知医生， 医生才改正的， 庸医 啊。。。。。。 |

于是找了一家学校推荐的本地认证公司，寄过去要求的材料，今天收到证明信居然写“
等同于美国的硕士学位，等同于美国regionally accredited univeristy的博士学位”
。虽然证明信的Titile写着"U.S. Equivalent: Doctor of Philosophy degree from
an accredited institution", 但还是觉得有点恶心，国内top5 的博士学位没有这么
不堪吧。请问这个正常么？应该没什么问题吧...... |

get a PHD degree when she was 45, the year before I graduated from high school.
She finished her PHD before she turned 50. She is one of the most well
known professors in her area in China now. Although not really earns a lot,
she lives a decent life.
If your friend is really into the acadiemia field, then it's not too late
for him now. |

Johns Hopkins, Washington Univeristy in St Louis 的医学院里也有从instructor
开始做的人，一般是水平达不到Assistant Professor的人，在这3个学校还有很多人直
接从Assistant Professor 开始做），哈佛医学院第二种instructor 是博士后，给他
们这个职称是为了他们找工作用的，这些人是要跑路的，不是正常的faculty（
instructor--Assistant professor -associate professor- full professor)系列。
所以哈佛医学院的6000instructor中绝大多数是第二种。
其实在美国很多正教授是靠奥念头熬出来的，水平真的还不如有些Assistant
professoe和associate professor. 其实厉害的人在做assistant professorg时就就展
露头角，只是美国做每一步需要一定的时间（没有中国所谓的 |

get another ITIN#, with which u can get your driver license and
open your own bank account. Just go to the international office
at your spouse's univeristy and told them you need a driver
license, then they will apply the ITIN for you.
The process is similar with applying SSN.
You can even have your own credit card with the ITIN number. |
