(HTE) approach to the discovery of fluorescent polymers for the first time [
J. Am. Chem. Soc. (2002) 124, 5278-5279].
The HTE approach has been applied, with some success, to fields such as

I personally think it'd not hurt if we still give it a shot, especially
when WFU needs applicants so badly. I know one (graduated last Dec) is
planning to go back to China if he gets nothing at all in a couple of months
, and plans to come back to US for a PhD in FM or MBA degree later if he
gets a chance. I here simply wanna give him and people like him my best
wishes and any help I could possibly provide... |

背景：
从本科到博士都是数学专业，现在正在法国的一所普通公立大学做应用数学博士，现在
博士阶段的工作已基本结束，导师说今年十一月份就能答辩。博士的研究课题主要是用
黎曼几何的方法来进行信号处理。
基础：
硕士阶段对概率论和偏微分方程有过两年的严格训练，所以基础还算扎实，关于连续半
鞅的随机分析已经达到熟练的程度。Shreve的书第二册快看完了，感觉习题不难。C++
和数据结构是大学二年级的时候学的，前者还记得一些，后者早已忘光，博士阶段主要
是用Matlab做仿真模拟。看到版上大牛们说C++非常重要所以本人决心恶补。统计只记
得些基本概念。
纠结：
现在摆在我面前的有如下几条走上QUANT道路的方法，不知道该选哪个（当然如果大牛
有更好的方法的话本人不胜感激）：
A) 答辩后自己狂补几个月的C++，统计和数值方法，看绿皮书然后找QUANT方面的实习
或者工作的面试机会。
B) 去巴黎上个金融数学硕士（法国这边是半年念书半年实习）。问题是有两个学校的
项目可供选择，一个是挂靠名校（Ecole Polytechnique）但是不大讲我需要恶补的... 阅读全帖 |
