born in the 70s, poor growing up.
went to elementary school, they switch to 6 years
went to college, china starts charging tuition
in college, girls are mostly conservative
got USA scholarship, need "foreign relative" certification
came to USA, missed the "blood card" bonanza
finally started working, the tech bubble bursts
want a green card, wait 5 years
bought house instead of stocks, at the housing peak
start building up 401k, now market crashed (again)
want to go back to china, those with blo

我的Fantasy Football队。=（
打牌也是。最近搬家，打球手受伤，去打个牌还真是挺折腾的。
最近一直跟LP讨论打牌值不值得我们的时间。从一个副业的角度来看，打牌娱乐价值高
，时间的commitment很flexible。可是短期的variance高，感觉也不是什么光明正大可
以跟同事聊聊一家子周末做了什么的事。
我们爱吃面包。每个礼拜会去面包店。LP就问，为啥我们不考虑不打牌了，去
franchise一个小面包店。也会很有乐趣，也有可能赚的比打牌多（我多次认真考虑过
franchise波霸店，subway，etc）
考虑的细节就不重要了。反正结论还是打牌又好玩又是可进可退的副业。
然后就是我一直输输输。输。
这两个月来已经突破我从2005就没有更新过的连输记录。
现在谈把时间用在不同的东西也是说先等upswing后再说。
反正打牌就是赢的时候认为自己天下无敌。输的时候就只能反复run simulation，和朋
友讨论，尽可能的确认战略和execution都好，和自己自我催眠unluckiest ever。而每
次继续输，自信就越弱小。
还好这两个月来LP牌的技术越来越好。... 阅读全帖
