学校就搬到周围住吧。2000吃喝玩乐足够了。
工资看专业，老板和个人情况。我知道的就没有超过3万5的，不过都是拿J签证的，很
多都是过来生小孩的，也不在乎拿很多钱。
Dallas的轻轨终于修到Denton了。距离新韩国城的H-mart开车大概30分钟。 |

哦！里面好多中国人。而且附近好多学校，中国人极多，比如utd啊，unt啊。好多活动

本科985大学材料科学与工程毕业，方向偏金属，本科毕设做的铝合金无铬防腐。GPA不
高，差不多有个3.4上下。
本科到master之间没工作过，就在暑假期间去中科院实习过一个月多点。
Master在UNT读的机械，搞的project是混凝土强化，用boron nitride掺杂。GPA好一些
，大概3.9高一点，因为还差最后一门课和thesis没出成绩。
现在就想找个mechanical engineer/material engineer，或者entry level的field
engineer/project engineer，薪资什么的已经没啥要求了，能给H1b最好，不能的话有
个e-verify也知足了。地点无所谓，可着整个德州都能搬家，反正老婆也最多再有一年
就毕业了，稍微两地一下无所谓。
贵版都是热心人，希望哪位知道内推消息或者有position的能考虑一下小弟，多提携一

发帖数: 383 | 20 中石油的open house去完了之后痛定思痛，还是得找个靠谱的老美公司
再重新自我介绍一下
UNT的ME硕士，做了两年有关混凝土强化的project，主要还是偏materials science一
些，做过了挺多sem和电化学的东西，但是基础的autocad，creo，ansys还是能做的
之前在NC做了一年III-V半导体的热电性能本征和强化，接触过一点mocvd
本科是华科的材料，主要做金属，做过一个铝合金防腐的project
背景差不多就是这么多，主要还是希望能找到一个靠谱的intern或者entry level，因
为之前做的太杂，每次去面试总是觉得答不到HR想要的点子上。希望能做的大概就是
mechanical design/analysis，material engineer，或者两者结合的
版上热心人很多，所以还是希望大家能帮俺内推或者推荐个靠谱公司，不敢说必有重谢
，但是一定会心怀感激。
至于其他同学担心我英语不行/钱堆出来的，这种没啥解释必要吧。很多老美跟我说过
听你说话听不出来是外国人。 |

大点。。
回国方便，一站到北京和上海。
金融，IT企业比休斯顿多。toyota 和liberty mutual都要搬到那里了。。还有其他大

最好的，下来的UNT呀，SMU呀成天瞎折腾，成绩都不怎么地。结果市场和人才都被
UTAustin和OU抢走了，现在Ark和TAMU又来抢人，这些本地的球队就越来越不好过（其
实本来就没好过）。TCU在这个环境下，还能有一番作为实在是不容易，也说明德州人
才济济，只要给机会，都会发光。 |

Baylor球员天赋好，但是打球懒洋洋的，打个常规赛还可以，淘汰赛大家杀红眼的时候
就顶不住了。
TCU最近几年强，传统不行。学术上面就别提了，感觉都不如UNT
德州其实足篮方面人才挺多的，人口总量在那里放着呢。就是UT和TAMU撕逼撕得太难看

and northwest express area were not good due to the recent snow was dryer
and hard to stick on rock facing the wind. Only front side was open but the
condition was GREAT for early season.
With a nice base, Day 1 was okay and everybody got warmed up on groom. Happy
Thanksgiving!
There was a weather system on the night of Day 1 and we enjoyed 5" of fresh

chicago转机时间有2个小时. 上周查flight，发现他们改了schedule,转机时间只有50
分钟。 考虑到转机时间紧，老人不方便，打电话给united，是美国本土客服，问他们
能不能改到continental的一个直飞的航班，当然我们需要开车3-4个小时送母亲到
newark机场。他们说 他们仍然是不同的carrier，所以不能免费改， 要改的话， 要加
250$,或者可以refund我790$,如果我们cancel这个reservation的话。那个客服
supervisor还说她可以leave a note注明 refund的数额，如果要cancel的话，再打电
话过去 告知一声就好了。
后来我们自己在网上找， 为母亲又加了一点钱，买了一张从newark直飞的机票， 准备
回头打电话cancel united 的reservation.
结果，打电话先是一印度人接的， 他说没法知道refund多少钱，要找他们的refund部

自己做对焦测试，无IS的时候拍了几张都比较清晰，对焦是否准确我还没有下载照片查
看。问题是IS的时候，我每次一对焦就会觉得视野向下移动了一点点。我自己有一个18
-200，没有这种情况，请问这个IS是不是有问题？
还有一个问题就是我找了找镜头的代码没有发现，不知道是怎么回事，不是都应该在mo

final at last year. Just know that over 100 go in and less than 20 graduate with BFA in photography. And you have to maintain c or better in all art courses and b or better in all major courses. The toughest part is that art is super subjective.
