2006年开始读PhD，有次一起去外地开会，我误了航班，结果到半夜才到开会的那个城
市，导师先到了，他开车去机场接我，外面雨雾蒙蒙的，他边开车边和我聊一些工作上

读PhD的几年，过得甜蜜又痛苦，能和他谈研究进度，聆听他的教导，让我感觉特别幸
福，他那么聪明，睿智。上他的课，心里就一直在想，以后就没有机会坐在他的课堂里
看着他听他讲课了，他说的每一句话，每一个字都深深的印在心里。
曾经以为毕业之后就会忘记，事实是到了新的地方，不能再看到他，每天都非常想念他
。吃饭，走路，工作，时时刻刻都在想他。在网上搜他的名字，看他的照片。
一点儿没有和他说过暗恋他的事，担心如果他不喜欢自己，伤自尊。有时又想人生苦短

help.I guess one with mental disorder has to walk out by him/herself. Maybe
following two movies are also helpful:
1) The beautiful mind;
and
2) When a Man loves a Woman.
The second one is a chick flick.
To walk out of depression or other kinds of mental disorder, one has to
realize there is a problem, face the problem, and know you can change yourself

只要能脱离恶性循环,基本就回好转.
很多天才其实是mental disease的症状.天才之所以成为天才,主要是因为他某方面太弱.
就象瞎子的听力比非瞎子要好得多.欲练神功,引刀自宫,就是这个道理.
在美国的印度人肯定比中国人多.但是中国的天才太多.

used towards that purpose.
But normally I don't pay that close attention. I have read enough of stories
to describe men wemen turned to beast by sex or whatever (its mostly sex.
Heh guess why?) That I find it boring. Serously. I'd rather read some upbeat
stuff in which there are unfy (sexy) parts. Or not. As long I like the

1. 10-2003 确诊，07-2004终于手术切除，期间Jobs一直在试自己选的diet疗法。扫描发现癌变在扩大才动了手术，这段时间癌转移的多少不可知，但肯定越拖转移的越多。
2.手术后没化疗和放疗。Jobs 2005年演讲说这表明病情乐观，不知是哪个庸医给他灌输的。2004年手术是大面积切除，部分胰腺和胃和小肠，胆和胆管都切除，目的是要消除扩散，但不系统化疗和放疗怎么能最大程度减少扩散威胁？哪个外科大夫这么信自己的手艺？
3.2009年换肝，这在扩散性癌治疗是有争议的，因为换肝后压制免疫反应有可能促进别处癌的生长。也有可能当时肝已经不行了没办法。
这种癌正常治疗大多数可活10年以上，Jobs真该到东岸Hopkins或Harvard找个靠谱的大夫。

i want to move back to houston too. i made lots of stupid mistakes which i
struggled landing a meaningful offer upon graduation, so i left houston for
a grad degree to give myself a second chance. i hope my hard work will pay
off soon and do whatever i like! |
