最低的了

发帖数: 1500 | 7 us一般每几个月就会放出买一送一活动，现在就有，持续到9月底，大概1800可以入手
5W+5W里程。核算下来1.8cent/mile
但这不是最合算的，最合算的是转一送一，今年6月有一次，不过这个出现的频率比较
低，大概1.5-2年出现一次。你把你帐户里的里程转给某人（转里程要收费），然后接
收里程的人会获赠同等的里程，比如你给你老婆转5w，你老婆可以另外再拿5w，你只需
要支付手续费就可以了，核算下来大概1.1cent/mile,这绝对是无节操无下限的贱卖里
程。。。不过明年us和aa合并了，估计us这种bug级别的ffp要成绝唱了，现在ow家的机
票都快给us出光了。。。所以楼主如果现在有刚需就抓紧申吧
不管买还是转，你的帐户都要注册12天以上，接收的帐户也是，如果转当然你帐户里面
要有点mile当种子... |

但是今年的话你再用AA花4万，能拿到1万AA 的Elite Miles，加起来就3万elite miles
了，就够AA Gold。
也就是赶在4月底merge之前三张卡，总共花够9万，就可以有AA Gold。

unable to verify information on application, call within 10 business days
然后打过去，告诉我不是citizen，所以不能批。我觉得这个很可笑，因为我保存了申
请时候的页面，没有提卡只给citizen。
然后我很不服不忿，给US bank CEO写信，申诉这个情况，我觉得这是歧视。然后CEO给
我回信(mail)还是说不是citizen不行，我没去找这封信，但是就是这么回事。
更搞笑的是，我在那个时候（10月份）再去申请页面看，印象中下面小字添加了一个只
能是citizen 和 LPR才能申请什么之类的，2年多了记不清了。http://www.clubcarlsonvisa.com/credit/visaPremierCard.do#foot_1 刚刚又去看，找不到了。
总之，这之后觉得US bank太渣，当然，我这可能是个例，所以我没在版上吐槽过。但

这是我的第一个GO congress。 有理解不对的地方请熟悉情况的高手指正。
GO congress 有很多比赛，比如US open， NAIM， pair go， youth tourney，die
hard tourney， crazy go等。前面四个比赛是比较正式的，其它的就是图个好玩而已
。其中US open 基本没有任何限制，所有人都可以参加。 NAIM有身份限制，并且有预
选赛，所以有棋力限制。基本上要AGA３D 以上吧。
对于我本人，因为身份限制，不能参加NAIM, pair go也找不到美女棋手搭档，中年大
叔又不能参加 youth 比赛，因此只有US open 的６盘严肃的棋可以下，性价比不高。
所以以前的US GO congress 对我吸引力不大，从未参加。
今年新增一个strong player比赛，赛制和棋力基本上与NAIM 相似，但是没有身份要求
，对我而言可以多下４盘正式的比赛棋，所以就决定参加了。
再过几年等我家女儿会下棋了再参加pair go. lol |

1. 有可能跟信用卡一样是暂时扣的钱，如果没有扣成功，过几天会自动返还到帐号。
2. 如果没有返回，直接找us airway，给他们看账单，让他们退还。
3. 如果us airway不承认收过，也不退还，找银行说明情况，让银行跟us airway交涉。
4. 以后告诉你LG，网上交易不要再用debit card |

我没有不承认自己的错误，可是错误发生后我们都是按正常手续在办，打电话给客服，
客服让我们自己去网上改，自己貌似改好了后，又被莫名其妙的扣了钱，觉得很冤枉才
来发泄一下。
本来就已经做好了钱拿不回来的准备了，后来看到网上有些人和我们一样经历，在us
airway 订机票，被us web ca扣钱，银行怀疑卡被盗用，重新办卡。
难道us airway没有责任吗？
这种也许是小小概率事件，不过也算给大家提个醒吧，别用debit 卡在网上尤其是us

后面的人在讨论1刀的charge，大家都认为这是us air用来试探信用卡真假的临时

那400多刀charge的是us web ca而之后那机票钱charge的是US Airway的话，我觉得有
两种可能：
1. 他们的web service可能的确是跟别的分开的，所以在web上定会显示us web ca，而
别的地方定会显示US Airway，而两方信息可能不是实时同步的，所以会造成你网上订
了，但是电话过去对方数据库里还没有这种情况，lz可以等几天再电话过去问。
2. lz老公上了钓鱼网站，卡被盗用了，消卡是明智的，不过lz应该确认下那400多刀已
经complete了还是hold的。
不过最重要的一点，任何时候可以用信用卡就用信用卡，特别是网上用，我一般习惯用
discover那种自动生成一次性的卡号。 |

stamp required to return from US virgin islands to the continental United
States?
Anybody with H1-B status went there recently and came back without a problem?
I asked a few different department, and got consistent answer that US virgin
islands are US territories. no visa needed to come back to the US from the
virgin islands. But I am not sure if the customs and borders personnel would
all follow this rule.

去年我们从美国本土飞到Puerto Rico，玩了几天然后飞去US Virgin群岛，几天后再飞
回Puerto Rico，然后隔天飞回美国本土。我们都是H1b身份，而且visa stamp当时已经
过期了。
整个过程都很顺利，都是用美国驾照就可以了，只是从US Virgin回Puerto Rico的时候
过了CBP，然后看了一下我的h1b approval (I797)。
然后今年准备延期H1B的时候，在CBP I94那个网站上的Travel History里发现一条
Departure record，就是从US Virgin回Puerto Rico那天的。但是并没有新的I94，而
且没有一个相应的entry record。请问这种情况是怎么回事呢？有什么办法去CBP查精
确的记录吗。去PR和US Virgin然后回本土应该是没有新的I94的对吧？
