no any traffic, its memory usage is 1.4G. Then the system was running under
stress for 30 mins, and the memory usage reach ~10G. We stopped the stress,
however, the memory usage didn't go down too much, which was around ~9G. We
checked the system statistics, and there was no object hanging in the memory
. Then we restarted the stress, however, within 18 mins, the system was
running out of the memory.
Any idea?

indicating the high usage of EB1 quota as well. However, the most horrible
thing will be that EB1C usage from India will continue to escalate in the

bandwidth and slow down everyone else. Before the ISP can build higher speed
connections, it is helpful to set a generous cap to limit unreasonable
downloads.
So what is the cap ATT has set? Do you think it reasonable? Comcast caps
seem to work in a way that high volumn downloaders are automatically slow
down untill the cumulated usage over the past x days is below the limit. |

(Data Usage) 费，call records 显示的number 是723487686 ，这个比正常的号码少
一位。我才用了一天，被扣掉1毛多了。找了半天，也没找到怎么避免这个费。
有人遇到过这种情况吗？怎么设置才能避免？

看pge给的usage图，用电量最低的半夜3点的时候，平均用电量也是0.5kwh
但是pg&e又不说这0.5kwh是一个小时还是两个小时还是三个小时平均。

I am going to measure how much memory and how long time a computation takes.
For example I am running the MS WORD,and issue a command for it to replace
some words in a very long article. Windows' Taskmanager can monitor the memory
usage by look-and-feel, is there any command line way I can keep track of it?
Most importantly, how can I keep track of the time it takes to finish this
operation? I didn't mean by using a watch manually. :)

比如声明这样一个变量
using namespace std；
map *nameMap = new(map);
... // 在nameMap里插入了1000个(string, int) pair
现在需要估算这时heap的size增加了多少？
估算如下：
本身sizeof(map<...,...>)是48个字节。
一个string s的size是 sizeof(string) + s.size()，假定字符串长度都是8，则是16。
一个int是4字节。
这样至少是48+1000*(4+16)=2048 bytes。
但是map是用rb_tree实现，加上开销是多少呢？看了一下source code，不太确定是不
是算对了。
