助广大CMG 找到心仪的位置。在这里我先简单介绍一下申请病理基本常识和(潜)规则，
希望有更有经验的attendings 指正和探讨。美国和中国是完全不同体系. 在中国, 一
个好医生可以决定病人的命运. 在美国, 任何专业医生都是流水线上的不同装配工.
首先申请病理是不是很难？ 2010年有144 个program 503个位置，美国ＭＤ应届生322
个，USIMG 有98个，总共289个IMG 只申请病理，另有近200人申请2个以上专业，所以
大概3个取一。感谢近20年来CMG的上佳表现, CMG 比其他IMG录取率稍高一些,所以可能
1.5-2取1。 要想在众多申请者中脱颖而出，就需要做些功课。做到扬长避短，投其所
好。
申请人可归为以下几类：
1。US senior
2. US MD transfer from other specialties
3. D.O.
4. US citizen IMG
5. US MD, PhD
