extremely competitive (below 40/ above 500 applicants for Accelerated BSN,
150/ 1200 for BSN).

另外UTHSC的Meibohm也很牛，不过估计他那里相当难进
相似的领域pharmacometrics，学界的带头人应该算UMd的Gobburu了 |

发帖数: 16 | 27 UTHSC-H的要求其实是针对GSBS其它的program的，Medical Physics在里面是属于相对
独立的一个program，完全由MDAnderson的Imaging Physics Department和Radiation
Physics Department管理，在这个上面要求似乎不是很严格。你可以自己去发信去问
program coodinator。
Accreditation是可以renew的。基本上正常的program都能做到renew成功吧，除非是特
别差的。 |

发帖数: 58 | 29 学校排名应弱于专业排名。U Pitt当然是个很好的学校。但并不代表所有的专业都很好。
就象 U Marland （College Park)和 Washington U （Ｓｔ．LOuis） 学校排名
都很不错，但生统就非常非常地弱。
俺觉得Pitt过于强调应用了。
大部分Faculty的文章以collaborative paper居多。而MD Anderson的Stat
Methodology的文章就很多。
至于Collabotative高档次文章如 New England J of M, JAMA, Nature Or Science的
Contribution主要是Medical Researcher，所以均很少考虑。
从地点上看，俺也觉得Houston远胜于Pitt.
Pitt当地有另一个大牛校CMU也是做Bayesian为主的，但可能偏于理论方面。而Houston
，则还有其它几个不错的学校如， UTHSC（Biostat) ,Baylor，Rice等 |
