Economics reseach seems 把一些简单的道理复杂化, but that is not really true.
Good economists painstakingly theorize things because they are searching for a
framework to *logically and consistently* understand the world.
Oftentimes I hear my sociologist or political scienctist friends criticize
economists "trying to complicate everything" --"it is better to be vaguely
right than to be precisely wrong."

反复累积 从这个意义上说一个大错也并非轻易能够铸成 当然一件好事就更需要耐心和
长时间的酝酿.. 新的一年飞快到来 用焕然一新的床单给自己一份新的心情虽然还没能
脱胎换骨脱颖而出但仍寄希望在旧年遗留下的这份未完的情结中保持那种一尘不染的追

Indeed, there are many Ph.D. programs that can be closed. The first one on
my list to close would be the Religion program in Columbia university. Why
do we need Ph.D.'s specializing in religion? Leave that area to the rabis
and ministers!

immigration law mandates deportation on convicts of "violent crime".
Dimaya side did not argue her crimes were not violent, but argued that the

instructions. From what I understand, USCIS actually requires 3 additional
full time researchers not including yourself.
I am not sure how you can get around this if you以分公司的名义申请 and only
you and your boss are researchers. However, if your boss is willing to help
you out, you can list all researchers in US and UK. To be safe, in the

In my petition letter, I only claimed original contribution and publication,
using judge of others and media report as supporting evidence for
contribution.
However, the IO agreed on media report, judge, and publication, but not on
contribution.
S/he thinks that the recommendation letters are vague.

evidence he wants to see. You might have to dig deep into your materials
especially your citations and media reports since they are documentary
evidence, and re-organize them to show "international" and "outstanding".
Letters from people who cited your paper should also be helpful.

The first recommendation, however, I would NIU (and any organization to be
honest) to do is to have a mission statement. What is the purpose for NIU
to exist? What is the future NIU would like to see? And what values NIU
will live with? After NIU has the mission statement, please walk your talk.
People need to be excited about the idea, including volunteers, before
sticking with it. Why the marketing effect was under your expectation?
