quart). Upon checkout I noticed that it was discounted $2.00 per quart (
showed motorcycle oil discount on the receipt). The cashier and I were both
surprised because it is not advertised anywhere. He said he has never
seen the atv/motorcycle oils discounted.
To make sure it was not a fluke, I went back and purchased more. Seems to

store and saw they had $2 off per qt /ltr . Regular price for Castrol 4t and
Valvoline motorcycle oil is $3.99 -$2 = $1.99. that makes it 1/2 price at
my local store. Also, Valvoline Racing oil is also $2 off. Exp 4/4/11

Valvoline has a $7 rebate for it's NextGen 50% recycled motor oil.
I just got a 5 quart for $15.47 at the local Walmart.
After the rebate it'll be $8.47.

发帖数: 427 | 26 今年暑假给老车做维护，去valvoline换了火花塞，是bosch的牌子。
一直用到11月份都好好的，期间跑了不少长途，总和估计有4-5k miles。
前一阵子coil挂了，local的一个garage给换了coil+distributor，400。
换完当天开就有踩油门的时候加不了速的状况，但是不是很严重，松下
油门再踩就可以正常跑。周日在高速上突然有5秒钟同样的状况，被吓的
不轻，下高速的时候，没踩油门，看有两次引擎转速表从2k多变到0，
然后再从0跳到2k多。周一把车送去同一家garage，路上还出现了
同样的状况，狼狈的打双闪。今天garage的人说是我火花塞的问题，说
帮我换了火花塞和高压线，160刀。我试开了一下，大概有10几分钟，没有
出现engine stall的状况。不过不敢保证以后也不会出现。
老板人似乎还不错的样子，我兜里没带够钱，只给了80，让我周一再给剩下的。
老板说主要的原因是valvoline给我换了用在德国车上的火花塞，他给我
换了日本车用的。我问两个的区别是啥，他说heat不一样。他说有可能是

今天去valvoline做state inspection.放下车就去旁边椅子上吃早点了，刚坐下就听
valvoline的黑人哥们儿OMG的叫旁边的人来看，另一个黑人哥们儿看了也是OMG。我赶
紧过去看，老远就看到引擎上黑乎乎一片，没看清怎么回事但是心里默念“不会是引擎
坏了吧，我的钱包啊”。走近一看是一片油，原来是MIDAS换完机油没给我拧盖子，油
都挥发出来了一半，还撒的到处都是。当时光心疼浪费的机油了，后来想想好危险啊。
油撒的到处都是，周围这么多电线，德州又这么热，谁知道会不会再自燃了。真是可怕
。黑人哥们儿看我怪可怜的，就帮我免费把机油补满了。
之前总有人声讨midas，我还总觉得没那么严重，看来以后我得换个地方了。下次指不
定又是什么毛病呢。
p.s.也许不会自燃，我太过紧张了？大家引以为鉴 |

BMW自相矛盾，丰田官网和说明书也不一样。
实际只要相同标号full synthetic都行，很多不同牌子的油都是从同一生产线下来。
我的E53，4.4i，valvoline和penzoil都用过。
很多人迷信castrol或者amsoil，其实差不多东西。
40的油有点稠了，可能牺牲mpg。

我的车2002年的CIVIC, 一直去店里面换的普通油(valvoline),很多人说换成合成油会
有漏油或者烧机油的问题,不知道会不会呀? 还有想问问,如果之前是用valvoline,之后
换成其他牌子会不会有不好的地方呢? 还是说要坚持一个牌子的呢?
不知道有没有普通油的DEAL.

三周前发现那个coolant reservoir 全空了。没在意，也不懂。
昨个周六发现引擎灯亮了。
周日早上，加了一些水，开到Valvoline去换油，顺便把coolant reservoir加满。
又在walmart 买了一罐 Valvoline 牌子的 coolant。因为加了水，打算把coolant放空
，再加新的。
开车时，打开，吹热风，帮发动机散热。
回到家，发现，coolant reservoir 又快空了。
估计是radiator的上部漏.
一堆麻烦 |

and expect to pay arm and leg for them. Surprisingly, Autozone got them on
special combo deal. Currently, amazon got 6qt Mobil1 for $48.99 which comes
out to $8.xx per qt. This is a good deal to stock up. Not sure if this
deal is the same online but shipping cost is prolly kills the deal.
Limit 2 oil changes per customer per day. Deal expired on 2/6/12

参考一下.
1999 1.8T 5-speed, 74K mileage.
1.换电池. 回国一个月电池就死了,拆了拿到 walmart 换个新的自己装上,$63.
2.换机油. Firestone 要$55, VW dealer要$60. 于是在autozone促销时买的Valvoline
full synthetic 5W30, $2.5 each. Oil filter $6. 越南店找人换的, $10 Labor.
一共不到$30, 可以用5000miles或者半年.
3.自己换了雨刷皮:$6 一对. 我的老Altima只要$3.
4.自己换了cabin air filter. $18. 我的老Altima没这东西.
5.换了两个胎,$180, 我的老Altima只需要用$120一对的胎.
以下维护的零件都是在网上买的.
6.换了Timing belt, tensioner, water pump, A/C, Alternator and V belt. 顺便换

transmission flush（05 年 mazda3 63000麦）.目前买来开了500多麦吧，没什么问题

是感觉1档换2档的时候总是很迟钝，然后转速表从1000多升到2000多后然后转速突然下
降，然后车
感觉向前一冲，然后换上2档。不知道是transmission的问题，还是所有的车都多收有
点这样的情
