车镜子拜下来了。如果是用车撞的，就是collision。
comprehensive的要求是对方不能是移动中的车。
就算你说不是别人撞的，保险公司或者警察也会来看，是不是被车撞的还是能分辨出
来的
去问问停车场有没有摄像头吧，如果没有摄像头，而且你没有保自己的车，就只能自
己掏腰包了
这个版上的人或多或少都遇到过这种事，就当破财消灾吧 |

)，比方说GEICO，All State，出了问题你的full coverage赔偿租车公司的车。别的哪

车的dent分布在hood,front fender, front door, side door, side panel, roof
rail,凹坑明显，并且漆都蹭掉了,估计分布的太分散是价格贵的一个重要原因。三家都
说必须报保险，要不然自己修太不合算。
第一家是个共和党老白，规模不大不小，雇员看起来都比较周正。
老白老板亲自看了车的伤疤，在电脑上用软件算了半天，估价2800+
老板说他曾经在法庭上作为专业人士作证说车的dent是怎么造成的。他非常肯定这样的
坑一定是动力机械卷起石头打出来的，不然没这么狠。
第二家貌似是一个大店，但是有些雇员看起来像小混混一样。
estimator说绝对2000以上，并且也认为是石头打的，很可能是vandalism
第三家是一个小店，一个朋友介绍的，老板是个中东人。
这家的价格就比较猛了：600-700，并且让我不要担心deductible,他会take care
这个意思就很隐晦了，难道是他准备给保险公司报高价？然后替我出deductible？这个

下面是progressive的解释，其它保险公司基本都一样。这种车的碰撞除了collision，
或许可以用Uninsured Motorist Property Coverage来赔付，但是估计lz朋友也是没有
购买，买了也未必可以argue到。
With Collision coverage, your insurance company pays for damage to your auto
when you collide with another vehicle or object. If you hit a car, a pole
or another nonliving object, Collision coverage will apply.
With Comprehensive coverage, your insurance company pays for damage to your

bbb了geico，geico重新开了case，换了个第三方公司做检测，然后说是水先进了油箱
造成的hydro lock，然后说既然原因查明了，就可以用comprehensive来cover，但是奇
葩的是归类到了vandalism里面。。。。不过还好还是保了，省了5K+刀。。。 |

丢在几迈远的黑天使区路边。
我检查了一下车况,发现车的破坏如下：
1，ignition cylinder被挖走，所以车不能用钥匙启动
2，第二排座椅被盗，这是个bench seat，不知道黑天使们要这玩意干什么，可能拿回
家当沙发
3，车载音响被盗
4，dome light被盗
其他还有一些小破坏，看起来更象vandalization，车的主要部件，发动机，变速箱，
brake booster,steering pump等等看起来完好无损。我自己不想再费钱费力去修这破
车，决定卖之。
大佬们指点指点这车怎么卖才最划算：
A，craigslist 上卖，列出上述破坏，并且注明mechanic special。这种情况标价多少
合适？
B，卖给used car dealer
C，卖给junkyard
如果大佬们还有其他卖车方法，请不吝赐教，谢先! |

ago I live in an apartment complex (cheap place, rent less than $600 month
for 1 bed)driving my first new car (about $20K) and some one there liked to
puncture my tire or smash windows. So I moved to a better place and no
problem of vandalism ever.
If you live in university campus, probably it's ok. or else Chinese when
live in a poor area while driving good car, you are asking for trouble. |
