Publishers之所以抽那么大的份儿，是因为他们花好多钱在宣传上。拿普通文学出版来
讲，传统出版商（比如五大:penguin，random house）目前大概一次性赋给小说家３
０００-１００００的*advance*（新人通常不超过５０００,牛们几十万都有）。你卖
的书如果挣够了这些，你才再开始继续收钱。On average，每本书绝对挣不回来，但
这钱就是你的了。当然突然出来个哈利波特，商们就赚大了。所以他们要但风险。所以
你每本书挣的少。比如他们“卖”给书店的书，没卖出去的是全部可以退回来的。
除了传统出版，现在还有两种，一种是骗人的小house，叫 vanity publishers，大家
千万不要上当。你签了他，他就有你的版权（这如上），但他们不给你宣传，也不给你
advance, 很多还要你给他们钱编辑和做封面。当然，你要是名人，最后能自己卖出去，
也能赚，但你就不如走第三种。他们许诺很高的提成，但卖不出去有什么用？

1) for a 115 sqft room, level the floor and install 1'x1' marble floor tile.
2) install 4 base cabinets and one wall cabinet.
3) install a 48" bathroom vanity, granite countertop and faucet. and collect
washer and dryer.
4) put beadboard,trim, chair rail and baseboard on three walls. Each wall is
about 4'x8'. Beadboard is only half the height of the wall.

供应链物流也不错，机器学习，人工智能顺带硬件软件也不错，AWS和drone就更不用说
了。对人full stack的技能培养的多，对business sense和customer obsession培养的
也多。对 open source采用的多，有很多能盈利占有巨大市场份额的业务和产品。
缺点就是员工福利差， work you to your bones。公司氛围比较有敌意，完全没有爱
，无休止的斗争。而且作为一个retail business本来就是服务业，整体风格比较屌丝
，不擅长PR公关搞一些fancy的东西，不热衷开源自己的技术，没有vanity。 |
