不是。现在学的是Multi-varible Calculus,Linear Algebra,但是很多证明。
H家的学生进去要做数学摸底考试,差的先学一年Calculus.过关的从multi-varible
calculus学起。按难度分成21, 23,25, 55.
21和一般大学的多变量微积分类似,基本没有证明,就是强调计算和应用。23有一些证
明,25证明为主,55是给数学天才开的班。
我家女儿现在在25。以前中学学的都没有证明,全部是计算。现在的家庭作业全是证明
,而且有的难度不小,很不适应。有的直觉上知道是怎么回事,但是证明写的一塌糊涂
。每星期的家庭作业都要我把把关。2个星期下来现在好多了。这星期写的证明像点样
了。

you can not declare the two varible with the same name,
doing that will cause f() has it's own local varible called a and b,
shadowing the original declared a and b in main(), so a & b in main will
not changed after f().
Instead using f(int[][] anotherA, int [] anotherB) may solve the problem.

一条生产线,两个工人,N个工作台,(N>2),工人1排在工人2后面,工人2从工作台1开
始工作,完成了工作台1就走到工作台2,以此类推,直到工作台N,完成一个产品。工人
2一离开工作台1,工人2就开始在工作台1上开始操作,然后去工作台2,3,只要工人2
没有占着工作台。工人2一完成一件产品马上走回到工人1当时在的工作台,将半成品从
工人2手上接过来,工人2立刻走回工作台1开始一件新产品。如此周而复始。工人1和2
的速度都是exponential distributed, with expected value E(v1) < E(v2).
问题是:what is the production rate of this assembly line?
查了文献,如果工人的速度不是random varibles,那当趋于平衡点的时候,production
rate is simply the sum of v1+v2. 但是当速度是random varibles 的时候应该怎样
考虑呢?

Don't know for sure. The dimensionality of the "Graph" plays a role here. For
both GA, and Monte Carlo, no a prori knowledge about convergence is there.
It's too hard to consider, unless the Graph is more specific, and the domain
of solution is clears defined.
Anyway, since the individual cost function has a simpel form here, the
derivatives of f(x,y) also have simple forms.
An equation set of N dF/dx_i ==0 is already in a close form. N equations for N

我刚问过用proc contents可以找出变量总数,然后存在macro varible里,但这个
macro varible 无法用来引用变量,如:v&total。

so you can simply drop it using "Drop iterm_array:;" which will drop all

题目是:说说你对multithread的理解。 thread Synchronization 都有什么method.
我答的Synchronization有mutex 和semaphore 两种方式。在那解释了一堆。。。。
回来发现, 似乎linux的ptread里面有mutex, join 和 condition varibles....
有没有熟悉的同学帮忙确定下答案对不对?
都是c#毒害的, c#里面也有join, 我怎么就没有想起来呢。。。。 看来看的东西还是
得针对题目准备, 仔细想想Synchronization的方法很多, 思路都很简单, 但是不同
的os似乎归纳得不一样, 郁闷, 看来得准备个C#的答案和c++的答案

signaling 好像就是condition varibles
我不确定的是monitor是不是每次只能够有一个thread在用cpu(monitor)? 因为在上面
的那个链接里面有说at most one thread occupies the monitor at each time
请请问一下在你看的书里面monitor是不是每次只能一个一个线程在跑?

那给你补一课吧,当然我也可能说错
HELOC像CC是Varible Rate的,而rate是每月调整的,但是他tie on Prime rate。
可以是P+2,p+1 p+.5 p p-.5 etc
几乎所有HELOC都会给你Intro,就是你最开始的rate,像你的3%,过期了就调整了,这样
你就知道p+1和p-.5会差多少了。问题是大部分会有条款多长时间内你不能close HELOC之
类或罚款
你的lender不告诉你margin明显就是能蒙一个就一个了。

From my annual physical, my cholestrol was high (approx. TG=600, HDL=34) and
so did the glucose level (fasting glucose=112). I had a follow-up one
month later and got some surprising results (TG=300, HDL=41 and glucose=90).

Pros:
* not subject to state income tax on interest (CD does)
* no federal tax ONLY if used for education purpose (CD does)
* instable rate (good or bad). Base rate(never change)+varible rate
depending on inflation (change semi-annually). (CD never changes)
Cons:
* you can't easily cash it. must hold for 1 yr before redemption. Plus, any
redemption between 1yr-5yr=3month interest penelty. Not good for short-time

这倒不要紧,人家可以说 require booster seat 是有初始值的全局变量或者class varible. 不
过变量名中间不应有空格,就算是伪码也没见过。

基本同意你的观点。略加展开。
他的观点是三等舱,男性乘客多,死的男性比例高才导致整体男性死者比例高。既然对
方用了统计术语,那么就用统计学的方法来解决这个争论。
就这个数据。要做stratify analysis. stratify on gender. colunm varible:舱位,
row variable:death 然后在各自的strata比较survival rate和趋势,看significant
与否,等等才能下定论。
总之,要提供具体数据,否则都是扯谈。

成熟的科学理论都没有那么多争论了,因为数据在那摆着,争论啥啊。
只有那些还不成熟的科学理论和根本不是科学的东西才有很多争论。
我认为量子力学,贝尔不等式只是其中一小部分都是比较成熟的理论。真正搞物理的才

我有一个temp table存着数十个table names
求教怎样只用SQL列出所有table的count(*)
具体就是如何把temp table得一个个表名转成变量被select count(*) from 认识
现在的做法是把table name list存入一个shell varible, 然后用shell的for loop一
个一个地死算,但是这样要进进出出dbaccess几十回,不好看,如果一次能在sql
level上搞定就好了。

Because in the first example, there is no instance varible(or class variable)
nameed x exists other than the local varibale inside the method, so the scope
of the x is all over the method, and it can not be shadowed any other local
variable inside the method.
On the other hand, the second example has an instance variable x and also a
local block variable x, inside the if block, the local variable

Java does not allow pointers. So if you want to change the value of multiple
varibles, make them the properties of an object and pass the object as
parameter for the function. I don't know what else can we do.
