pathway, and also you know how to monitor the existance of the metal
then you can try to block these key proteins individually and see whether
the metal particles are still transported into cells
by doing this way, you can examine which mechanisms are involved
also if you know that metal is imported in some sort of vecicles, then try to
stain the cells with some known components of these vecicles, usually
