Gleevec uses the beta-crystalline form while Natco's Veenat uses the
polymorphic form.
During the legaL fight in India, it turns out Gleevec may have 30% more
bioavailability (probably due to different solubility), but the patent
office ruled it as not a significant improvement in efficacy:

. It's of no use for other types of leukemia. |
