denied。前几天某友在跟我说，这句话查不到出处，好像是从前的英国首相格拉斯顿说
过的话。我查了一些工具书，在Black’s Law Dictionary里查到比较接近的两句谚语
，一是：Justice is neither to be denied nor delayed（正义不得拒绝也不能延迟
）。另一句比较长：Justice ought to be free, because nothing is more
iniquitous than venal justice; full, since justice ought not be halt; and
speedy, because delayed is a kind of denied（正义应是无偿的，因为没有比花钱

Point，然后一路下坡走回Yosemite Valley，沿途近观Illilouette，Nevada和Venal
三大瀑布。不料人算不如天算，在宾馆前台得知Glacier Point因前两天下雨封了路。
我只好采用备用方案：从Yosemite Valley攀登到Nevada Fall。
时间还早，我们先驱车在Valley里巡游。一路上到处是云雾缭绕。
在Valley的西侧，El Capitan 和Bridalveil Fall主宰视野，争抢风头。
而Valley的东侧，Half Dome被云层遮挡，Yosemite Falls于是独占鳌头。
吃完中饭后，开始登山。最初的一段路四年前也走过，当时是累得气喘嘘嘘汗流浃背。
这次倒是一路轻松地赶到Merced River上观赏Vernal Fall的小木桥。除了天气凉爽，
这此的装备也帮了不少忙：我们是手拄登山杖，脚蹬Hiking鞋，嘴里还不时灌点
gatorade运动饮料。Illilouette Fall是这段路最主要的景观。从这里望去，它象是奔 |
