to vend so-called "high-temperature" pork back in early to mid-1970's. For
those who do not understand what that is, it is the kind of pork harvested
from pigs with parasitic diseases (detail of which I am sure no one here
wants to know). High temperature treatment killed the parasites and hence
made the pork safe for humans to consume.

cereal就上街了，逛到十一点多，接到朋友电话说他的车胎路上爆了，正联系拖车，不
能吃中饭了，改下午吧，不见不散。怎么办？本来都计划好的，现在我自己去也没意思
，干脆不吃了，逛到下午吃晚饭，于是驱车到另一个mall继续逛。
到了两点多，觉得肚子有点饿了，就在vending machine买了个chocolate milk喝了垫
垫，心想再坚持两小时就有饭吃了。谁知道不垫还好，这点东西下肚，可能是把肠胃给
唤醒了，愈发的饿。三点半左右吧，就在那么几秒钟内，突然我就觉得两脚发软，头上
的虚汗一下子就冒出来了，浑身乏力，还很头晕，竟然站都有点站不稳了，我只好痛苦
地蹲了下来歇口气。想必是当时我的脸色极其难看，不一会就一个好心的老头俯下身问
“are you all right?”我其实一点也不all right，但总不能告诉人家说i am too
hungry吧，那多丢人啊！只好挤出一点笑说“i am fine. just because of the new
