components备用，奶嘴不太会坏，那个塑料的venting system 5 个月左右就会坏掉，
所以，两个瓶子（有两个0号的nipple) + 2x (1,2,3, Y cut nipple) + 2 venting
component ..
so far bornfree的用下来最好使，其他的牌子都试过，都有漏奶的问题
玻璃的就没有BPA的 concern了

看起来有些defect,急着要下offer了，

完全能够挤进weep holes并一路向上到attic。如果是大片新开发地，按老美说法：
you are taking their land and usually they move in before you do.
无论5百万还是20万房子都或多多少面临这种问题，没其他方法，只能沿着墙上上下下
把所有砖木结合处缝隙封死，所有墙上的vent 去买vent guard封闭，耗子可以像蜥蜴
一样爬外墙，但是通用的4寸和7寸两种vent guard孔洞也都过大，需要在里面再封一层
铁丝，然后墙基的weep holes用weep hole covers填死，或者买细密铁丝网，剪下来折
叠紧紧地塞进去。
然后院里养猫或者下夹子。墙里的，去attic里下夹子吧，运气的话能逮到，如果没泛
滥，一般逮到之前他们就死墙里了。 |

发帖数: 8308 | 7 车库sheet rock和地面应该有4寸左右空档，先沿着墙一周看有没有两个手指头左右或
更大的洞，有的话可以在洞附近下夹子，用homedepot victor牌的大夹子，小的一般没
用。如果确认车库没有耗子爬进sheet rock后面的洞口，把下面空档封闭，方法很多，
有人用水泥，有人用2X4的木头条子，然后沿墙在外面盖一层base board，就跟室内装
修一样。
确认耗子在车库三面进不去墙后，趁天亮关车库门，在库内把灯关了，一般会看见外面
阳光从车库门两边和门轨下面缝隙透进来，确认缝隙大小，把不妨碍库门滚动的所有缝
隙全部封死，一般是用木头条削成梯形往里塞，看缝隙形状了。
PEST CONTROL 基本就是扔几包药，没太多用处，animal control会漫天要价，规律基
本是围着房子晃一圈儿然后就恐吓你，说到处都是耗子痕迹和dropping，房子所有角落
都可能进，听他们的基本就是这房子不能住了，然后天价报价，4000尺房能要$8500包
工包除耗子终身保修，7000尺有要过$16000的，根本就胡来，便宜的也能找到，但他们

加州有法律问题，不让随便在挡风玻璃放GPS（能放的位置很别扭）。

晃眼睛。以前用Garmin GPS也是这样用的，现在是iPhone+Copilot+

name 的窍门是不太需要自己找的，因为生产厂家都替咱找好了----他们给自己的产品

们的产品名称。
举些例子：
关于哮喘的药物，向来是比较混乱的，直到有一天我豁出小半天时间列了个表，就豁然

Atrovent 是 Ipratropium 的 brand name. 为什么？Atrovent = Atro + vent, Atro
= Atropine, vent = ventitation, so Atrovent = Atropine + ventitation, Got it?
Ventolin 是 Albuteral 的 brand name. 为什么？Again, Vent= ventitation, and

vent valve和canister连接，并且有electric connector，所以应该很好判断和找到在
哪里。
fuel system的连接通常使用quick connector （quick connection clip)，你动手拆
之前一定要确认你有合适的quick connector clips （取决于你的车型），否则很有可
能拆下来了没有合适的parts，没法接回去了。有的车使用的quick connector是不需要
clips的，但是需要专门quick connector release工具来拆，一般装回去是不需要工具
的。
最重要的是，follow safety warning for fuel system -- 如果你有可能动fuel line
的话。你需要做的应该不需要动fuel line，只是vapor/vent line。

当时我也很希望只是油箱盖没盖好而已，但没那么好运气，坏了就是坏了。
dealer查的code，vent valve leak，去了两次
第一次给刷了新版固件（computer geek？），开了没多久又亮了，再回去，才换了零
件，到目前为止OK。当时才4000 miles，作为客户俺很不爽，还能让我付钱？
楼上那些有的有道理，有的很没道理，别理了。顺便问下，你是不是经常开到加油灯亮
了一段时间才去加油？听说这个对油泵不大好，vent valve问题跟这个有点关系。 |

Air and fuel vapors in the tank have to escape to allow the fuel to go in.
The normal path is through the carbon canister which traps the fuel vapors
and allows the air to pass.
So either the vent valve is stuck closed, the filter (if used) is dirty, the
opening for the filter/vent valve is obstructed with debris, or in some
cases the canister itself has plugged up.
Find a technician who is familiar with evaporative emission systems to test. |
