program从Venture降级到venture one.
昨天发现被收了年费，打电话进去发现从来就没有转过卡。一直打到supervisor，都说
没办法，而且不能退年费。今天又打了一遍电话，整个一个公司硬说年费收了就没法退
，也不能给credit
气了个半死，把他家所有卡全关了
这么个公司，都不肯为自己的失误买单，甚至有可能是欺诈
通报一下大家，被转venture one的要小心了，千万不要相信什么“不用换卡”。就算
你想换venture one,一定要求见到新卡和新package.别再像我一样被骗了 |

Joint venture一般财务计入母公司吗？（假设两家母公司各50%的投入），一般来说母
公司的投入会
计入母公司的成本还是Joint venture单独计算，子公司的收入利润之类的？
另外我看Joint venture一般都不会上市，然后一般都有一定的年限，比如两个母公司
几年内投资多
少，一般来说过了这个年限是不是就子公司独立生存了？

税。本来想买新车，但由于没有自己的车库，就还是选择二手车。由于工作原因，需要大点
的车，就开始关注SUV，一直想上JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE，看来看去，2004款的都要10000美刀。有次去JEEP DEALER那里看车，网上看到的CHEROKEE没看上眼，反而旁边的一台别人TRADE IN的CHEVY VENTURE引起了我的注意，看着简洁大方的外观，我要求进行试驾，开了一圈，感觉不错，操控性很好，动力也不错，就随口还了个价，没想到SALES老头假装算了一会，就同意了，我现在还记得他叫JOE. 第二天我就把这个大家伙领回了家。
几年开下来，完全改变了我对美国车的印象，其实原来也都是听来的。美国车用料足，

师兄（老美）开了个公司，今天和我谈要joint-venture，需要我提供技术方面的high
level的支持，可是这种技术支持不可避免的涉及说不清，道不明的conflict of
interest 与现在的公司。师兄说他一定替我保密，说到时候money可以寄到任何我想要
去的地方，我觉得这么说好像有illegal的嫌疑。
大家说这事我能干吗？我觉得conflict of interest是一个不明确的定义，是那种说你
有，你就有的。我在一个公司干，可以去别的公司做consultant之类的吗？我是说合法
的。
如何操作才能合法呢？大牛指教。谢谢 |

现在担心父母机票分开买会有风险，例如，同一航程万一一张买成功，一张没买成功，
他们岂非要分开飞行， 或者要打电话改航程。 或者买票后航班误点，要改换飞机，两
个人如果有两个reservation #,改换飞机是否要麻烦一些。
LD强烈反对父母机票分开买，觉得又不是非要申请两种同样的信用卡，LD认为机票一块
买(一个reservation)省事：
1. 不存在一张买成功，一张不成功的情况；
2. 航空公司要临时改航程时间，也会一起改；
3. 飞机误点，改换飞机，协商也方便些。
请问大家，父母机票可以分开买吗？

务人员说是拿到卡以后才能知道有没有annual fee,结果拿到以后是有的,打电话过去,
说给推荐另一种Venture卡没年费的,cancel原来那个.
拿到新卡,里面cover letter果然说没有年费,可是用了几天以后到online banking去查
,居然又扣了39. 打电话给客服,说是membership fee.我问为什么跟cover letter上告
知的不一样,他说他也不知道,让写信给salt lake city的一个department去问,还没有
电话号码,只能写信!

2 MILES, 花1$， 2cents. 请问哪个合算？
而且， AA/UA MILES REDEEM 机票， 不计算里程。 而VENTURE REDEEM MILES 买的机
票， 还计算里程。 还有， 它REDEEM 可以REDEEM 到1mile 那一位， 比如229.99 买
的机票， 就只要22999MILES. 还有， 所有的旅行花费都可以REDEEM. 不知只有飞机票。
如果从花钱的角度， 它是很划算的。如果说到BONUS, 那就是例外一回事了。

感觉做工比我的MARLIN要强，特别是那个扳机力的调节，
太方便了。
我记得有一期 AMERICAN RIFLEMAN杂志里面比较
某口径子弹，对比测试用了MARLIN XS7和VENTURE
VENTURE的精度比MARLIN 高一些。 |

位上属于Savage Axis, Marlin XS7 以及Mossberg 一类的低档1.5 -3 MOA rifle(see
nutnfancy reviews), 打猎足以。但是在精度与做工上可能无法和 TC Venture,
Weatherby Vanguard G2, Savage 10, Tikka T3, Browning A/X-bolt 相比。我拥有一
把Tikka T3 Stainless 243Win 和一把Savage 10 FCPK 308, 两者使用Federal 和 S&B
factory ammo 都是Sub-MOA.
我对T/C 此前并无经验，也无激情。要不是这回碰到crazy deal, 根本不会再购入一把
308 bolt. 看看使用 5R rifling 的venture 表现咋样吧。 |

Gander Mountian had the Garmin eTrex Venture HC GPS Receiver for 169.99 - 80
rebate right now, but Wal-Mart had
that GPS for 124.99 online. If you can get Gander Mountian to pricematch
like I did you can send in the rebate and get
it for 44.99 AR and PM.
