You can get into any national park for free all week long, from April 21 to 29.
Among the choices around the valley include the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, Death Valley and Lake Mead.
Be advised that Red Rock Canyon is not one of the parks with free admission because it is managed by the Bureau of Land Management.

没错 -- 都是埋死人的地方！ 想象下黑夜里冤魂到处游荡在树叶间 ～～～

在一个春暖花开的早晨，应好友fionna 之邀来到了这个她上班的小城。
fionna 是我读书时的如美，香港二代移民。美国南方大学里的华人不多，不管来自台/陆/港彼此都还算礼貌珍惜。我爱玩她更爱，于是江湖上常有我们两人晃荡的足迹（LG那时在外地）。毕业后，她在维克斯堡一家水利（好像和军工有关）公司上班，我也搬到了LG在的大城市。
一年里总要聚一下，顺便听听她满肚子的男朋友故事。追她的人就像海边的浪花，前仆后继，悄悄地走了一波，又来了一波，一年又一年的花季里，长发剪了短发，短发又换成长发，没变的是fionna 嬉皮的笑容。
据说维克斯堡名字来源于某个音乐家，忘了是个鼓手还是爵士乐歌手，曾经是密西西比河下游非常重要的一个港口。河水比长江还是清多了，也窄多了。往日船来船往的盛世，现在早已不见痕迹，偶尔一两艘老式气垫船伴着鼓声悠悠划出。

几个问题比较散乱，互相没有联系，放到一起说吧。
首先是先例。先例是法律，应当遵守；但是和大陆法系的观念不同，先例又是可以推翻的
。
因为法院的对于法律的解释权的权威，高于先例对于法院的拘束力，这个不是什么规定，
是传统的观念而已。从1066年至今，不知道英语民族的法院推翻过多少先例了。
Legal tender cases里面的短期反复，有强烈的党派色彩：Chase在担任财政部长时候
就跟林肯内阁不对付（那时候林肯资历这么浅的，要对付内阁里面那么多山头，实在
不容易，要不是Gettysburg和Vicksburg两战救了他，1864年战局向有利北方的方向发展
，
就算共和党能赢麦克来伦，也轮不到他当选），他的立场在某些政策上更加倾向当时的
民主党，这个法偿货币方面的态度就是：联邦政府不能做宪法没有规定的事情。4对4僵局
时候一个人辞职，Chase一派勉强获胜，但是Grant总统随后任命两个亲共和党的法官（
共和党总统还能任命亲民主党的？），立刻在Knox v. Lee里面推翻Hepburn，纸币从此
强制流通，确立了现今为ayanami等人的崇拜对象的地位。这样短 |

据说一开始要说解放奴隶的话，北方愿意去打的人很少，而林肯的伟大之处在于在
战争中间发布了《解放宣言》，改变的战争的目的。象Gangs of NY里面的征兵骚乱，
也是因为爱尔兰人不愿意为“黑鬼”去打仗，这还是Gettsburg/Vicksburg两场大胜
之后战争进入第四年的时候发生的事情。中文的各种评述似乎都不大可靠，英文的读

200来人是后来的事情吧？征兵的时候一般都是满编制的，1000人左右。人数减少都是
消耗掉的，新兵不愿意加入老团，因为升迁的机会少，老团不愿意要新兵，嫌他们水平
凹。
我看的那书对Grant还是满推崇的，说他在西线的时候神勇无敌，夸他在Vicksburg战役
中以不到10000人的代价杀伤对手10000，俘虏37000，可能跟对手面有很大关系，毕竟
后来跟Lee对垒全靠人多有补充。 |
