Good news: Microsoft VirtualPC 7.0 (alpha version) performance on PowerMac G5
is surprisingly good! Even though we have only received a few real-world
"wristwatch" benchmarks and preliminary reports from two sources who have
recently come into possession of an alpha build of Virtual PC 7.0, the news so

Macs: "Virtual PC relies on a feature of the G3/G4 processors called 'pseudo
little-endian mode' for increased performance when emulating a Pentium

发帖数: 19309 | 7 嗯，确实会比较麻烦，我的wm手机tether以后会有新的LAN connection出来，
virtualPC里面可以为虚拟机设置network选择这个就随便上网了，我偶尔RDP回家这么
干，我单位大部分不限制。
如果wifi tether多半需要usb wifi adapter配合手机然后设置... 没找到别的可以设
定特定软件使用特定网络的好方法。 |

我一直用PC,除了前年給LD買了一個二代MBA, 去年買了iphone 3g 和 4， 還有ipad,
我自己沒有apple 的產品。
我個人是到處給人做consulant的， 有的時候也講講課， 主要用到的就是VMWare， 還有
VirtualPC, 我一直說， apple 沒有服務器端的技術積累， 就是一個純電子消費提供商。 幾個
月前， 想換台筆記本。 看好了HP的ENVY 14. 評價也不錯。 我還閒的在這個版上發了一個帖子
說這是MBP KILLER， 花了$1600, 等了27天。
結果第一天發現噪音巨大， LD說在她書房裡可以聽的到。 第二天， MMD 顯示屏給二屁了。 唉，
HP 服務還不錯， 答應給換， 但是他們沒有 1600X900的 顯示屏了。
還有一點讓我對他們的質量檢查很有意見， 我打開電源蓋子， 發現裡面有六個小塑料... 阅读全帖 |

virtualPC跟VMware比，我更喜欢VMWare，稳定 |

还是留在32位OS，或者用VMware/VirtualPC之类的虚拟机吧。 |

M$的VirtualPC还要装IIS之类的实在太烦，否则就试试了。
VMware在XP上就没问题。 |

发帖数: 22014 | 22 我们蓝翔技校水平差，码的程序肯定错误百出，大家不许笑。
单进程，也不用锁了。5M 票，320M request,原始数据都是偷 memory 的，测试结果是
3 秒不到。request 前 2 bit 是 opcode，最后几位是 ticket ID。
1、我这个没搜空闲票，先声明一下。
2、IO 会多占一点时间，呵呵，不过估计也就多几秒的时间，懒得整太复杂了。
3、HW 就不提了，丢脸，唯一能透露的是 virtualpc
