发帖数: 26623 | 9 其实加州高铁中段选线是相当合理的.中部谷地地皮便宜又平,理论上造价极低,而且还
是有一些低端人口的(Fresno 100万人,人均收入在美国200多个都市区排倒数第10,
Merced倒数第7,bakersfield 70万人倒数第17,Visalia倒数第6,modesto/stockton也排
得很靠后,几个地区加起来300多万人).
两头连接LA,SD,Sac和硅谷,加起来人口和消费能力相当不错.不过硅谷到Sac没有直线连
起来是败笔,LA-SD也绕得厉害.
但是现在就是中部谷地的造价都高得不得了,119迈106亿美元,还不包括买车的钱.两端
城市段只会更贵,一期旧金山-洛杉矶500迈出头要差不多700亿.整个系统目前规划800多
迈,1000亿美元都打不住. |

了第二，反而很高兴，因为第一就得去FSU（？）。
总的来说，这个比赛的准备既花时间又费钱，但他们玩得还算高兴。
说到这种民间志愿者组织，真有些可笑。昨天我儿子最喜欢的一项比赛，之后发成绩时找不到那项的负责人了，就没算分，只说了句sorry。 |

The spillover law should be reversed as previously that is the only thing
can be done for the EB-3 India relief. it is injustice people waiting for
Greencard from 2002 August onwards but people who applied(not all) on year
2007/2008 get Green cards.

发帖数: 207 | 35 出行前，曾得到这里大力支持，现在是时候回报，就先上个大致的行程：我们开自己的
04 CRV, 大部份是老公在开车，刚从国内来的公公（72岁，有车牌）开了2次的一小时
车，纯粹 玩票性质，我友情客串地开了两次1小时，第一次让公公说我开到1小时后就
打瞌睡，就赶到了后座同婆婆呆一块了。第二次是看老公开RV的样子很COOL,自己也想
COOL一把，开了1小时后，天下雨，突然变黑，一时找不到车灯开关的我，把RV往路边
一靠，再也不COOL了。
6-11-11 SF下午开车到Visalia, CA,住下。
6-12-11 到Sequoia National Park,看到大树。连夜开到Death Vally 的头站小店住下。
6-13-11 开车穿越Death Vally到Las Vages,住下。
6-14-11 在LV的酒店里修整一天。
6-15-11 开车到Grand Canyon,路上顺带看了Hoover dam, 住在Grand Canyon看日落。
6-16-11 在Grand Canyon看完日出后，路过Zion,然后，开车到Bryce NP 附近住下。

发帖数: 1058 | 36 因为你飞到fresno, 确实可能freson更方便。sequoia出来到tulare50迈左右，一个多
小时，到fresno 90迈，两小时。我觉得差别在这。星期天从酒店去kings canyon从两
个地方出发都差不多距离，所以那个不算。tulare不贵，比visalia便宜。我定的
hampton才80块一夜。
关键是我的signifant other太懒还贪图享受。要不在公园里搭个帐篷多美，不过我猜
现在也顶不到营地了。 |

开头先点明主题,这是我这次旅行最难忘的一天,为什么?因为这一天的得到的
乐趣最多.
吃过早餐之后,从visalia出发,大概到Sequoia NP也就不到一个小时的路.虽然
是单lane,但是路上有很多turnout的地方,(turnout我也不知道具体怎么翻译,
就是路边分出一块,给停车用的,因为加州有条法律:如果慢车阻碍了交通是要
给罚单的,所以一辆慢车如果后面跟了很多车,它都会到turnout的地方停住,把
后面的车让过,再继续开.)我们开得还是比较快的.路是山路,旁边有标记告诉
你现在的高度是多少,转眼就到了差不多2100米的地方,这时候耳鸣得比较厉害,
不时要咽口水,就和坐飞机一样.想当年爬黄山的时候,最高处是1800多米,可真
是一步步爬上去的,也不觉得有什么反应.现在肯定不行了,想不服老都不行.:(
美国的景区,无论是有山也罢还是没山也罢,公路是一定要有的,就算是不许你驾
自己的车过去,也会有免费的公共汽车载你到各个景点,非常方便.如果有些人就
是喜欢走路的话,也会有专门的trail供人hiking用,满足不同层次人的需要.:)
