does anybody have experience in measuring fluid viscosity? could we do that
on our own (DIY) in the lab without buying specific instruments? any
reference please? |

i used ball-drop-in-graduated cylinder method, the euslts i got differed
from the reported values for water . i guessed there are some flaws in this
method |

发帖数: 15913 | 4 I always buy 5-qt jar of castrol GTX high mileage or vavoline high mileage.
Both are very good oil for old cars.
No need to use synthetic oil on an old car. I do not change the viscocity
of the oil.
I change oil every 5k miles or 6 months. |

for less viscous liquid. |

看来法国和中国的革命传统影响深远
小lions的viscocity solution出现的时候也有人大喊彻底革命
包括林老师，这些真的算pde领域的颠覆之作吗？比较怀疑
太tm难了吧
现在pde领域的突破恐怕就在等待一个非常能精于几门、非常广博又非常open又非常年轻
的人
所以偶还是支持tao，再过25年，tao60岁的时候再来几个新成果拿两个wolf，我看行

例如Fourier。
数学家里面，只有Fourier的工作对人类社会
的影响力和牛顿的可以做比较。
但是Fourier显然没有高斯啥的数学能力强吧。

发帖数: 2121 | 12 简易的装置有那种viscometer吧，用个合适的Spindle应该就能测的。
我们用的是Brookfield Viscometer。 |
