reputation应该不错吧. 工科看看publication. 应该也有美国top 100以上的水准.
电子.电路.VLSI方面可能会牛逼一点. 至少器材设备应该不差.
主要是pay可能不是很attractive. 大概就美国postdoc的水准. 当然生活费低,
离家近是好处. |

For CS, industry experience might not matter too much. However, for EE,
especially in Telecom, VLSI, and semi, industrial experience is a huge plus.
If you can't even get a phone interview, most of times, it could be your
resume issue.
However, the odds is that you got referral and support from your phd advisor
so that he can even talk to his buddy.
Hang in there, you just need one chance. |

Some school has CE program in EE, such as Princeton's CE

老板正教授，但是啥也不懂，也不给指点，paper全靠自己憋。
近一年自己也憋了3-4篇会议paper，老板一点指点都没有，就是写好之后给改改标点语
法啥的。
近来越来越觉得不爽，觉得再待下去，自己找找题目，瞎搞搞，两年后应该勉强可以毕
业。
但总觉得不甘心，想做出点像样的东西来，像现在这样碌碌无为的毕业了总是不大甘心。
近来突然想转学重新申请，最近看了很多computer architeture方向的组，
很羡慕那些能发牛会好paper的人，而且貌似他们毕业后都能去intel，AMD之类的
research部门，感觉这些才是自己想要的生活。
不知大家有什么建议，一下两条路我该怎么选择？
1.再混两年毕业，发些烂paper，然后找一个凑活的工作活下去，
2.放弃现在的学校，重新申请牛校牛组，然后再读5年毕业

to know those managers/group leaders in Intel/AMD/etc. Get a job in industry
. VLSI is good for job. Paper is rubbish if you dont consider faculty. |
