hour)
Calculate how much you gain:

then to see if it is truly worthwhile..

exempt的employee很多，每个都这样那学校还怎么搞下去？faculty由于工作的独立性
，通常没人来管，但不代表学校不可以来管。很多州对take vocation不汇报的定性是
stealing，各位faculty每天的工资成本至少在500刀以上，几天vocation价值就在几千
刀。够严重的了。
tenure搞到不容易，千万别阴沟里翻船。 |

个我不怀疑。这个研究中心人比较多，据他讲他负责很多事情，所有的人都希望他在
vocation之前把该签的paper work搞完，是非常的忙，这个我可以理解。
如果要等上三个月，我宁愿不去了，姑且等上个两个星期，就像上面谁说的，等他回来

The posted job has the maximum,but he will get promotion every one or

昨天是特倒霉的一天--虽然今天过的也不好。本来下周三篇
文章要DUE已经头大的要死了，学校的天主教堂明天却有个什
么婚前教育(不是国内那种成人必读式的啊)。结果在那里呆了
三个小时，被空调吹的头疼，出来差点儿和未婚妻吵一架：她明明
不同意天主的很多教义，无奈未来的MOTHER IN LAW偏偏给她
受过洗，而且还明说暗示的帮我们在选天主教的教堂举办混礼：唉，
人家出银子，也就有拿人家的手短的感觉。天主教的教堂以前
也是去过的，也不在这一两回--也就在很忙很忙的时候硬着头皮去
挨了三个小时--本来可是说最多一个半小时的。
一大堆的罗索之后，第一讲讲MARRIAGE是什么，教父说MARRIAGE是
VOCATION。并解释说VOCATION本来是希腊文，是被CALLED的意思。然
后
说MARRIGE的前提是被CALLED TO BE MARRIED。说实在话，这个概念
把我搞的很糊涂，回头和未婚妻很是讨论了一番，说不上有结果，但

发帖数: 158 | 46 我也来贡献一点，去年七月份开始州立交通局上班，最大特点是工作可以自由支配，没
有deadline要赶，如果摊上好老板，天天上班打酱油。假期多，public holiday有14天
一年，基本一个月至少一个长周末，个人假期包括15天sick，12天vocation跟3天事假
，随着年数增加，12天的vocation能变成30天（要很多很多年吧。。。）。有pension
，大约退休之后能拿退休之前最高工资的60%，这个比例随着工龄增加。假设工作30年
，最高工资是13万，退休后能拿7万多的样子，再加上social security之类的大概有10
万吧。还有值得一提的是医疗保险，这个在退休之后也可以继续享受，而且这些保险都
可以cover家庭，性价比还是很高的。缺点是工资低，将来发展主要看social的能力，
就算爬到commissioner水平也就14万，所以指望靠政府工致富的就别想了。有远大职业
规划的就别来了，挺浪费生命的，越有能力会越郁郁不得志，这点来说很适合顾家的主
妇，上下班定时定点，很方便接送孩子什么的。能想起来的就这些啦，想起来再补充，

发帖数: 1975 | 49 万恶的旧社会，有地主，富农，中农，下中农，贫农。除了个别大地主出租大片土地，
自己不劳动，精力用在土地和佃农的管理及社会家族事务，大多数的地主或请几个长工
，或请短工临工，自己则是和佣工一起干活的。南方的中农，一般是家中有几亩或十几
亩土地，自耕自食，土地较少者，再租种地主土地，或者寺庙土地、或宗族公产，温饱
无虞，用现在的话，叫小康。下中农是指自己有几亩土地，但生活比较贫困，贫农包括
有地（几亩）无地的生活贫困者，以及一些无地，但其实生活不亚于中农者，后者或是
能工巧匠，或是地痞流氓。当时的城乡平均生活水平是没有多大差别的。一般做官的，
退休后回乡下养老。乡下无地还租不到地也找不到长工的，才会去城里打工，所以反倒
是城里贫困者更多。那时一个长工的工钱是一个月3石谷（100~120斤一石），一年就是
近4千斤稻谷，长工本人吃住在地主家，12石谷（after tax哦）可以养活几口人？清朝
摊丁入亩，没有人头税，民国因为战乱太多，又有人头税。农忙时节的临工一斗米（16
斤）一个工，还要酒菜侍候。农忙时节，不只地主请工，佃农也请，大佃户甚至请长工
