. The point is an applicant needs to whatever it takes and feels comfortable
to get the thing done. It's not a question of must or not, it's a question
of comfortable and risk.
My wife just pasted H4, VO does not look anything other than listed on
website... but we do prepare a lot of other docs... |

1. Consult a lawyer immediately and ask him/her about the chance that your
husband will win the appeal and how long the appealing process will take. As
far as I know, if the appeal is rejected, the length of your husband's illegal
status will accumulate starting from the date when his application of change
of status was denied.
2. He may still go to TJ because it seemed that the VOs there only check the
dates on our previous visa and I94. I had a pending COS at INS when |

why you come to TJ. Any answer, if you think it is very reasonable, you can
tell the VO. he didn't mind the answer. he seemed only want to chat with you.
he even suggest Dreamdream go to Toroto(I am not so sure of the name)next
time, he said TJ is too far away for her.
but yes, it is better to prepare your answer ahead of time. as I said, the VO
wanted to believe in you, not to suspect you.( only my own impression for t |

Different cases were assigned to different VOs.
Usually VO will approved your case in 3-30 days after receiving NOL.
If you want call DOS, number see top 3 post, 202-663-1541, than dial 0, then

your documents even you send new DS-2019 to them and VO will feel confused.
There are only 5 VOs and one chief, everybody is too busy and do not confuse
your VO.

poor girl, i think you are the one asked some q about F-2 visa application
in singapore. i have told you the question the vo will ask, how can you
still make such fool mistake, 3 years, surely you can't
get the visa. in fact, you are PR, much better than I. you waste your
chance, i think maybe you can try your f2 visa in beijing, I am doing it now
in beijing, not sure whether i can get the visa.

replies to my previous questions!
Here is the process:
They called at the end of March, got 4/17 7:30 am, No8 and 9 ( i really don't
think VOs will start work that early). At that time, we did not know about
the address change and that 4/17 is the first day after the move. we were a
little concerend after learning about the move, but decided to go ahead
anyway.

parents saying that they were sorry about their case. They said next time they
guarantee my parents could be interviewed by a new VO. But when my parents
sent them a fax asking if they could be interview again without paying that
$200. They called them again and saying that they were not really feel sorry
about their case, there was nothing wrong if my parents was rejected twice by
the same VO. Damn those VOs! My pare |

I just called my mum and here is their experiences:
First, my mom said today’s situation is very good, she said 2/3 of the
applicants got the visa while they were there (they left the embassy at about
1030am Beijing time). All the Vos are pretty nice and passed a lot applicants.
Da TT is the only one that asks a lot of questions and rejected some
applicants.

bad. I have seen too many ppl here in this forum playing games,
trying to cheat, and thinking VOs were stupid and would believe
what they say. If they happened to pass, their experiences
would be followed by some others. Believe me, this has begun
to hurt our community in general.

了材料，重点突出了父母与国内在家庭（国内有儿女、孙女和兄弟姐妹），社会（母亲
有反聘），经济（收入，存款和房产）的strong tie 的材料（可这些都没逮着机会展
示），给签证官的信也强调了父母一定会回去的理由，结果第三次被据。精心准备的夏
天跟父母一起的旅游计划可能又要泡汤了。上次拒签是大约8个月前。
基本情况：
父母年龄过70，是退休老师，妈妈有反聘，现月收入各自有5千多，有近30万存款，现
有一套房并又另预购了一套新的，有健康保险等。我在国内有姐姐和弟弟，lg有工作，
我现在家养病，最近一次回国是4年前，有绿卡。
签证过程：
昨天的签证的三VOs是两女,一男,给我父母签的是个头比较大的女ＶＯ，父母上去先跟
签证官打了个招呼，并递上给签证官的信，旅行计划和材料清单。
VO：你们去美国干什么？
妈妈：我们去看女儿，女婿
VO：你们在美国有两个小孩？
妈妈：是女儿和女婿
VO：哦，是女儿，女婿。女儿什么时候去美国的？
妈妈：xxx

BTW, do you plan to get marriage certificate in China as well?
About your transfer, it is fine to tell them that you transfer to a close-by
school for your long term relationship. But as well, you can mention that
it is also for your career benefit and you will get a much better job in

already, those supporting documents are not required or important, but can
be the excuse they can use to deny. |

预约电话的人说，要先取消，再预约。
可是，等到新号码下来，早约不上需要的时间了。
所以，只好硬头皮乐观的想：VO看材料应该以D-160表为准，还有签证当天带进去的I-
797。你想：明明有最近期的材料在眼前，干吗非得纠结一个预约时候给的号码。预约
就该只管预约，能证明咱的身份就行了嘛。
签过证的朋友都说VOs都还make sense的，就是在领馆工作的老中不可一世的样子，感
觉预约也是这么回事。
当然，能一切行动听指挥是最好的，遇到我这种情况也是万不得已。在真的别无选择的
情况下，反而不觉得担心了。XDJM们也不要为预约的事太担心了。 |

twenty-five to let the VOs know that you are at the top of your endeavor.

10/14/11: RFE submission
10/29/11: RFE denial (I submiited my RFE on the 85th day and they received
on 87th day, but they still treated my case as abandon. Dam a Japanese
professor and dam USCIS!)
11/14/11: MTR (They accidently mailed the RFE request to my old address. How
luck I am!)
04/10/12: MTR approved
04/29/12: RFE re-submission
06/06/12: I-140 approval.
