2）店面覆盖率能保证任何一个zip code都能overnight shipping
3）不装逼，walmart雇佣一批有一批的老弱病残，为他们提供工作机会
只要walmart整合一下资源，雇佣一批被amazon伤害的神医做一个顾问团队，招聘一批
码工
干翻 amazon也就是分分钟的事情。
amazon现在开始走极端了，政策极端不透明，对为他们创造40%的revenue的卖家就
像对待牲口一样，甚至连牲口都不如，牲口还需要吃草，amazon把卖家当作赚钱的奴隶
，这样的烂公司，早晚会倒闭。
walmart只要跟ebay建立战略合作伙伴关系，估计能把amazon干的人仰马翻。 |

walmart确实不能小看，他们到处挖人，好几个里面的小头都是consulting或者其他大
公司的背景，pay的很好。但是同时他们的管理非常混乱，和所有的从小做大的零售一
样，什么东西都是先做在指定规矩，一直是自下而上的企业文化，发展到现在这个规模
，已经有点力不从心。
另外walmart和他们的。com不是一个正真意义上的公司，他们的online在硅谷，很多系
统都是分开的，有好处，可以让这部分人不受公司文化的干扰自由快速发展，但是在整
合上问题多多。
walmart其实是美国衰落的表现，越是经济不好他们生意越是好，靠穷人发财。他们的
理念之一也是不要好的。能用就成。
walmart总部那个地方的员工，做管理的感觉live like a king啊，住豪宅，开好车，
什么奇怪的吃的那个小地方都能找到。 |

记得以前有人说在Walmart不能GC买GC
不过现在看来似乎是系统能通过，关键看小二和manager是否nice，是这样吗？

发帖数: 3579 | 44 有一次买了很多（公务），但是别人用debit卡买的，没吃到cashback，为了节约成本
，因为吃到的cashback还是算作公务经费。昨天就去Walmart退卡。
一开始，customer service的阿姨说不让退，我还以为Walmart有明文规定说GC不让退
，只是我不知道。我就离开柜台，把卡背面的条文仔细看了看，没有说不让退卡，只是
说不能redeem成cash。Walmart的return policy上也没有关于GC的条款。我就继续上去
和阿姨理论上了，然后manager给惊动了。我没有直说是要为了cashback，要退掉重新
买，只是说买多了。而且原来是用debit卡买的，买的人和那张debit卡都在这里，
receipt也有。不存在用credit套现的问题。
后来manager同意退了，本来是要把钱打回来到原来那张卡上，结果他们收银系统里没
有这个选项，好神奇，后来就退了现金。
结果还不错，打算过几天再用信用卡重新买回来。就是很奇怪，退walmart的GC是这么
艰难的吗？以前从没有退过GC。 |

两家package差不错，walmart略高。
Team基本算比较核心的team.不过老板都是印度人，组员也都是印度人。
Walmart用J2ee要赶超Amazon,符合我的当前技术。Vmware要用C++,我以前有些
backgroud.
GlassDoor review, walmart似乎经常re-org,还lay off. 老印把持上层，也经常斗争
。 vmware似乎轻松一些。
我目前需要一个稳定的公司，呆个几年，办身份，h1b就剩2年。也对今后的职业发展有
所帮助。
请版上大牛们，知情者，给点建议。 |

真心感觉不错！ 以后经常在 Walmart网站买东西！ 这种有实体店的网上购物，很放心
！

怎么也论不到WALMART 啊...GC又贵又没COUPON 也没DEAL...
买水果等等.
KROGER, SAFEWAY. 有COUPON 有有DEAL 还有GC, 也论不到WALMART.
买蔬菜.
RANCH99, 加洲超市 even Costco... 5% reward easily.. 还是轮不到WALMART...
买衣服/其他:
JCPENNY, TARGET, KMART, 有COUPON, GC 还有PROMOTIONAL DEAL.. 都比WALMART 强..
买电器, 玩具:
