impressed with prices. However that changed this morning with Best Buys

going to set me back. the employee told me about a washer they had on
clearance for $130. sadly, he had sold the last one in that store 5 minutes
prior to me coming in, but he checked other stores in the area for me. i
zipped over to the other store and to my surprise, the washer there was even
cheaper ($69.20 + tax). here is are the details:

condo，买了一个小海尔，发现衣领洗了几次就出毛边了，可是这些衣服原来用front
load的washer洗了好多年都没事。后来我想起来国内父母家的washer，也是top load
，也很费衣服。
目前我刚买了房，要买新的washer和dryer，研究发现大家都说TOP load的好。可是大
家有没有发现top load 的washer容易把衣服洗坏？还是我的case只是个例？ 还有，我
觉得top load 的washer不太容易把底下的衣服捞起来？需要够着身子探进去捞袜子之
类的？ 而front load的washer只需蹲下来就行了？
我正在纠结该买哪种washer，希望听听大家的意见。谢谢！ |

发帖数: 965 | 6 crush washer必须一次性安装好，一但leak, 就没法调整了，因为TM的crush了。fiber
, nylon就挺好，subaru硬是给造个16MM的drain plug，附近的Autozone，Napa只有M12
, M14, M18, M20,还有各种英制的washer, 愣是没有M16。最后在o'reilly找到了nylon
的，是combo, 必须连带着买了个多余的drain plug.
已经是换油老手了，翻船了这次。安装plug的时候，washer有一丁点偏离，没有crush
成一个完美的圆。这让我想起以前国内的时候，喝啤酒，喝完了，把易拉罐立在地上，
跺一脚，踩出一个完美的圆。
本来想着，一个washer, 一个filter, 6 qt oil在receipt罗列着，看着好看。这次算
长知识了。下次要么到dealer处买5个crush washer，要么换Fumoto.
大家拧plug的时候，换扳手crush之前看一下washer有没有偏离，别像我这次一样，太
SB了。

几次没甩干就停了），准备换新的。请教几个问题
1. WS一点，现在火线入党HMS home warranty，他们能管么？我知道是30天
waiting period，但是他们对于这种老东西是一次次来修（每次charge一个fee），还
是说来一两次会换新的？房子close了一年两个月了，一直没有warranty。
2. 要换新的话，大家推荐top load还是side load的洗衣机啊？我有个想法想把地
下室的那个half bath扩成一个full bath，但是那样的话估计没办法并排放washer+
dryer，只能stack on了。有人这么做么？side load的洗衣机会不会有漏水的风险？
3. 曾经看过一些washer和dryer的deal，发现除了lowes和HD会包安装，其他都不
包，而且order的时候还有很多附件管道啥的不知道应不应该一起买。我现在是washer+

换得个washer bottle也不管用。
老爷子给管好水，爬到车地下找，原来是washer 到headlight washer的管子中间的塑
料歧管那里漏。费了好大力气把bumper下面的挡板打开（图一），仔细观察，原来是是
的橡胶垫圈失效了。图二中能看到近景。
老爷子回去以后，在国内买了几个垫圈给捎回来。我给把垫圈换上就不漏了。washer
又能用了，呵呵 |

堵的时候，disposer的水会流到dish washer里，因为这个dish washer的出水口是连到
disposer上面的。
这个dish washer最近刚坏了，所以是不是需要把dish washer的出水口从disposer上卸
下来，那就需要把disposer上多出来那个口给堵上，是不是？

washer过了１，２年就会开始出现内部漏水,pump坏了等等问题。 电的和汽油的都有
这问题，consumer grade机器里面的零件不方便换，过了一年保修期再遇到问题就只能
仍了（不值得修）。
GAS power washer更贵，投资太大损失也大。 洗车我用一般水管冲＋刷子也能凑合，
不想折腾power washer. 用油的工具冬天储存也麻烦， 所以想买个用电的凑合一下。

You can find good stuff on sale all the time at much lower price.
As far as washer and dryer goes, I like Miele and Asko brand the best, both
have been making them for many years (much longer than the Korean brands). I
have not bought any new washer for long time, but older Miele washer
actually have a large block of concrete at the bottom, to increase the
weight so will not shake or make any noise when spin. It is very very heavy

先是电冰箱不工作--不过跟房东反映后，很快就找人来了，说给我们买了台“新”的，
结果我这二手冰箱花了我足足一个半小时才擦干净。
地下室有 washer and drier, 一家分别各有washer 和drie，分开附电费。现在发现房
东他们家天天洗大量衣服--三四缸的样子，两台washer,drier并用。
然后现在又发现sink漏水。。。。

发帖数: 11 | 44 才为了买washer去Lowes/ Sears 看了一遍(它们的比较全，还有homedepot）。感觉如
下：
1. 美国牌子GE, kenmore, 惠而浦做工比较糙，都是巴西/墨西哥代工，觉得自己用还
是不要买这些了，连中国的海尔小天鹅都不如。
2. 韩国牌子LG/Samsung,直筒顶开的中间都不带那个agitator，明显那个不锈钢桶的成
型轧花摔美国牌子几条街。但Samsung做家电不认真，Washer 2016年11月召回很多型号
，为此现在压低价格基本和美国牌子差不多了。要是不担心质量，可以现在去捡便宜。
个人觉得推荐LG，性价比高，没有质量问题。
3. 德国牌子boach/西门子没去看，质量要比美国强。
直筒Washer（Top Load）稍微伤点衣物，但绝不会出现异味；
滚筒对衣物保护好点，但要定期单独清洁，不然可能会有气味。
在这里，经常换衣服，衣服不脏，而且衣服也不贵（看个人工作需要了），我倾向直筒
LG。
楼主最好去卖场看一下就好了，洗衣机不复杂，只要能稳定可靠工作7/8上十年，噪音
低点就好。 |

发帖数: 880 | 45 以前用的dish washer是那种比较老式一点的，就是白色的那种，外壳好像是塑料的，
但是比较好用，用了好几年没有清洗里面也不会有味道。但是搬家以后这个房子装的是
稍微新式一点的，外壳是金属的，牌子是bosch，但是总是洗不干净，好像力度不够，
每次还都洗很久很久，声音倒是比以前小了，但是隔几天里面就很脏，而且还会有臭味
，每次擦洗dish washer里面都很费劲，而且也擦不干净。
想换一个dish washer，但是市面上肯定没有那种老的了，新的话不知道哪种能洗的比
较干净？这个装上去万一不好用再换就麻烦了，所以想调查清楚再装。

mold problem is very common for front load dryers. Therefore,have decided to
buy a top load washer with a affordable price. Can anybody recommend one?
Comsumer Report states GE WJRE5500GWW and Maytag MTW5800TW are the best buys
. However, I can't find them in regular stores (Lowes, sears, and home
deport). Looks like they are discontinued. Any body know a similar model
from those two?
