赢利和亏损相抵就行了. 不信你自己算. wash sale是防着人卖了抱loss, 同时又买近
来hold的人. 你day trading 或swing trading只要最后不留positions, 不管你报用什
么方法. wash sale 的算法和trader的算法结果都是一样的. |

Every year, I use trader's way to file my tax. I also tried wash sale's way.
The condition is that you don't have positions before year end, the result
is the same.
The wash sale way is to defer your loss to when you sell out all the
positions including the positions you buy back after sell. That is the key.

in violation of the wash sale rule.

doesn;t apply at all for mark-to-market traders.

查了很多资料，包括IRS主页
貌似Wash Sale并不是对减税有多坏
它只不过是把当时应该claim的deduction推迟到了将来
比如
1/1买了100股，花费$1000
1/2卖了100股，得到$700(所以损失$300)
1/3买了100股，花费$800
那么这里1/2损失的$300就不允许减税
但是可以加到1/3的股票成本里去（所以总共成本是$800+$300=$1100）
那cost basis高了，1/3买的股票，将来卖掉的话就可以更好的claim gain/loss
请问我的理解正确吗？谢谢 |
