其实要说河东边还是Edwardsville/Glen Carbon好。College town, 有钱人多，治安好
，学区是IL这边最好的，而且IL的income tax rate只有3%，比MO少多了，我知道的就
有一些WashU的faculty们住在那里。 |

如果是的话
1，这里治安不太好，不过10点的话问题不大，相对安全的地方还是有的，医学院附近
都还可以，租房不太便宜，医学院附近租个studio也要500左右了，跟人合租好一点，
建议好好看看地图，然后去craigslist.org上面找
2学术的东西不懂，但是washu的医学院在美国排名不错
3气候和东北差不多，应该比你所说的H市暖和多了，这里有中国超市，东西基本买得到
，自己做饭的话，一个人也就2，300百块
4考驾照20块，不用上驾校，车还是需要的，没车出行很不方便，油跟国内价钱差不多
，买个过的去的二手车5000以上吧，运气好的话车况好基本不用修，运气不好的话就不
知道了

退休了的穷人啦，想养几个孩子的工薪族啦，都还比较容易过活。
年轻人想娱乐工作，职业前景什么的，还是再稍微考虑考虑八。
好像一个世纪前还繁荣过一阵子的，可是不关咱现代人啥事啊。听说近几年，居住人口
还都一直在下降。
主要就业机会，不就是那个梦洒涛，发砸什么的吧，还有washu？

发帖数: 315 | 37 CITY么，倒是可以看看大拱门ARCH,其实arch下面的小的museum还是蛮有意思的。然后
是BUDWEISER啤酒厂参观。
WashU附近就是Forest Park,把车停到art Museum 附近，然后参观art musem 和旁边的
动物园。不要门票。还是挺不错的。
要是有兴致，可以晚上到Delmar Blvd 的loop走走，那边是比较美国化的餐馆和文化。
（悠着点，往人多地方走，隔一个block就不太太平）
吃的么，去olive blvd上就可以了：东兴园--北方人应该喜欢那儿口味，lulu(金满楼
）-好像是广东或上海的口味吧。
京园，在page ave，味道不错。

中国大院Location不错，交通便利，乘车购物均很方便。
房子稍旧，但房租也还很便宜。中国人聚居的地方不会是最好的（一般会贵），但绝对
不会很差的，
我想应该说是综合因素是很好的。
也还很安全，毕竟全是中国学生学者。做为新生，选那里应该挺好的。 |

Having black teachers and kids is not really a problem for us. Several of
my friends are black and are very decent people, their kids are very polite.
